Meryl aside, I can't think of any other Hollywood actress who can capture the audience's attention and elevate a movie as well and as consistently as Kate does. She's outstanding.
I love how Kate not only explains the story well but also discusses the themes of the books that she was able to connect to. She's not just a pretty face. She really does her homework, works hard, and gives 100% in her performances. It must've been fun to let loose and play a complete baddie.
I'm probably one of the few Divergent fans who actually LOVE the ending of the trilogy. Yes, most people have clearly said that it was sad, but I personally think that the ending fits Tris' personality quite well.

I liked the first book, it was fast paced and exciting, though a tad unrealistic, and brought along a lot more room for the story to go on splendidly. But VR blew it all off in one single book,and started to concentrate more on Four and Tris's love life more than the revolution that was happening around them. That was when I put the book down.

Kate is awesome! In reguards to an earlier post about rose being evil, Jack made her promise to never let go, meaning to survive & live a long happy life. Also it was a 2 way street. Rose risked her life 4 Jack when he was handcuffed, she also chose to leave a lifeboat to stay with him. Her ability to play so many different roles in her films is only proof of her talent as actress. She is also an amazing singer. :)
Read the book, thought it was quite engaging. I hope the film does it justice, as sadly, most film adaptations don't. Let's see if this is any different.

the movie by itself was fantastic although it can't really compare to the book. see the book has more details and the movie cut out many parts of the book, probably to make sure that its not too long.
