God forbid somebody says Colorado is mediocre or any criticism. So far they look like a 6-6 or 7-5 type team. Great QB and WR’s, but you can’t be one dimensional and expect to compete for the Big 12 championship.

Agreed! Too many "stars" and too many rappers on the sideline and in the locker room. Hope they are scanning for weapons. Too many distractions. Assistant coaches more interested in the latest dance moves instead of football basics. All bling, no skills. but only barely escaped win a win. Mediocre! They should have destroyed NDSU, CU will barely win 4 more games this season. My eyes have been opened.

FIRST GAME ! It's like a pre-season game. The line packages are simple until those lines gain confidence in running them. Only then do you start adding the 'wrinkles' to your basic line formations and and attack angles.
Next week you will see two or three new things. Within a month, most of you will be trying to ignore the comments you've made this week number one.

While Colorado did better defensively in the second half by conjuring up different schemes to prevent the option, they still have a lot to work on in the secondary. If the ball was 5 to 10 yards more, then NDSU could’ve won on a Hail Mary. Colorado needs safeties and corners. Plus, a good rushing attack so that Sheaduer doesn’t have to win you the game by himself!!!

As an cu fan i can say that was an unacceptable performance by colorado it exposed our weaknesses and they need to clean somethings up and i believe they will this whole week.
But mat you saying colorado oline didnt improve is crazy they sent blitz packages that whole time in plus i feel like they didnt have a right men in for the game they will be different people at the oline passion on the Nebraska game.the dline did good by stopping the run they applied pressure to the qb mulitple times and they just couldn't get the sack and they didn't call a lot of holding call on ndsu oline. They need to switch linebackers trevor woods kept getting burnt by the TE we need to see improvement on the play calling they ran man the whole time they shouldve went cover 2 cause the ndsu offense only ran slants when they throw the ball, same as offense we need to throw it up the field instead of doing hitch routes because when we do throw it up the field Jimmy horn or travis or lajohntay western or omarion miller will be open they got play makers at the receiving passion lets use them and lets get these o-coordinators and D-cordinator up in the boxes instead of being on the sidelines we need to clean up alot before next week. In plus Hayden needs to get the ball he cooks once we feed him. All the oline gotta do is get more physical on run plays so you can make a whole for rb they did phenomenal on pass plays they gave him time to pass it but the guards need to be more aware a blitz is coming the tackles did good and we need to be able to recruit high level recruits to make it to a cfbp but just give him 1-2 years then we can start questioning him

I wanted to address some of your recent comments regarding Colorado and North Dakota State University (NDSU). It seems there's a tendency to downplay the skills of NDSU to try and paint a narrative of how bad Colorado is, but their history speaks for itself. They have an impressive record of 9-4 against FBS teams, which demonstrates their competitive level.
Additionally, Cam Miller and several other players received significant NIL Cash offers from top FBS programs like Michigan, Alabama, and USC over the past two years To jump into the portal. Cam is an exceptional talent, and his ability to escape the pocket and make plays-like his 81-yard runs and two touchdowns-was crucial in keeping NDSU competitive. Colorado may have stopped NDSU, but they struggled to contain Cam Miller, who is truly a standout player.
It's also worth noting that the teams Colorado faced last year, who barely beat them, were not as strong as they seemed. You focused on Colorado losing Instead of how close the games Was, I never once heard you say Anything negative about the other teams For letting Colorado be so close And almost losing to Colorado since Colorado is such a terrible team to you. but it’s important to consider the overall context. I understand that Colorado draws attention, which likely impacts your coverage And revenue gained from Views of your video talkin about colorado, but it’s essential to give credit where it's due.
I hope you can see that the narrative around these teams and players is more nuanced than it may appear.

True story. I'm old, grew-up in Colorado and was an early teenager back when CU was competitive. I had been to games here and there over the years but hadn't been to one since we had coach Hawkins. Finally went to one again last year when they played USC and I'd never seen it that full in person before. I also saw a handful of current and previous professional athletes going to the game as I was walking in which was super cool as well.
Outside of really spirited CU alums, CU football was pretty much dead here until Prime came here.

It’s the amazing display of athleticism by Travis Hunter. Watching #12 contort himself to catch the TD pass while being clothesline tackled by the defender was nothing short of jaw dropping. And then there is the other 110 snaps he took on both sides of the ball. Travis Hunter is legitimately a freak of nature who had a very good outing. You wouldn’t get that from MattBeMissingTheHeadline.

Give the guy a break. All of the people that are taking a more critical perspective couldn’t do any better than that man has done with a 1-11 program in such a short period of time. As much as I like Colorado and Coach Prime, you hit the nail on the head. My thing with Colorado and FSU is coaching and play calling. I've been watching lots of 'Well Off Media' shout out to Bucky. What I see is a lack of focus in those videos, and it shows in the games. AAU is an excellent analysis. Full of talent, but they don't have it where it's most needed; in the trenches, in discipline, in the attention to detail. You see, when you have young men playing to make that highlight(clicks for likes), you give up something. Coach Prime was a freak as Dion Sanders. You can't teach that. Like a father often does, expects what he was in his children. You have it, or you don't. Coach Prime goes out and gets talented kids or what he sees in himself. The problem is, some things just can't be taught.
Colorado, you can have this one for free. Understand why true military personnel often times make good coaches. Not someone who was just in the military.

Both live and die with the Offense and believe their prolific Quarterbacks will get them out of every situation at least Riley’s teams have a pretty decent run game. But both Defense/ trench play are terrible and do little to improve that side of the ball each year they think the portal will be the answer.

I never bought into a Blowout, I based my prediction on First Game Mistakes and New Players/O-Line-D Line but with expecting CU running MINIMUM 130yrs from scrimmage. CU won the game, great but how they Won will not get them winning through the Conference. I'm more Nervous for the BUFFS now than I was Before this NDSU. If you can't run the ball and Every 3rd n 3 or greater is automatically a pass Everyone on the planet knows it meaning a D can Blitz, Bull Rush at will, BUFFS are DOOMED. I won't even discuss Defense...if if if CU can get running yardage as little as 130yrd a game average that will help O-Line to pass protect a hair better allowing Shedeur to do his thing, outscore, while keeping Opponents D rushers slightly at bey. The season has started you can't fix everything, at this point running the Ball is their only Hope being respectable through the Conference. I think it's possible. BTW I am/WAS predicting a 7 Game Winning Season with 5 Wins in Conference.

Last nights game was made for passing. Fcuk a running game when you can light up the scoreboard every time you touch the ball. They started running to prove a point - and it backfired. To run, with no success, and then go for it on fourth down with no previous push was asinine. That secondary was trash and they abandoned killing them. CU put themselves in that position.

Colorado has two main problems, and neither one is Coach Prime. The best talent primarily goes to the SEC and Big 10 Conferences. The Big 12 and the remaining conferences are left with players who couldn't get a scholarship at an SEC or Big 10 school. Mike Gundy of Oklahoma State University is a good coach and has been there for 20 years. But he'll never be able to recruit the type of players that Ohio State, Alabama, and Georgia get. The best players will not play in the Big 12 if they can play in one of the elite conferences. Colorado will never be able to attract top-tier talent.
The second problem in Colorado is the need for NIL resources. Top programs are giving out $200k - $400k for an offensive or defensive lineman. How much NIL money is Colorado distributing? That's why Clemson is struggling. Dabo doesn't believe in NIL.
Finally, I'm concerned about Colorado next season without Shedeur and Hunter. If they only win three or four games this season, they are going to be trash next season, which will be Coach Prime's third season. The coach must build the team through high school recruiting and fill in the holes through the transfer portal.

Peyton Manning won his first Superbowl with superior offense, he won his second Superbowl with superior defense. The lesson learned here? At least one side of the ball has to be elite. Colorado's air raid will be their undoing, especially if they keep the clock stuck. The lack of a run game and low producing defense is what kept the game close.
