Last year it was 9k & the rewards were awful since it was all just 6* resources. Since then we’ve had omega days which required 25k+ & July 4th went up to 36k. So there’s no way banquet requires less than 15k units but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 20k or 30k.
Ever notice how the GBC bundle they sell in the store for $50usd for 10 GBC ALWAYS seem to have much better drop rates compared to the ones you purchase with units …

I understand they need money to stay open but there is a thin line between reasonably charging customers to stay afloat while offering decent rewards and just out right greed to take advantage of the whales.
The event should be based on the progression of the player. A valient player does not want to spend 9-12 k units on 6* resources. Just for that . I'll personally skip this year's event .
I HAD 4500 units saved, but I had to burn a ton via showcase and SOS gauntlet bc I hadn’t been saving revives. I have a good bit of revives saved but I’m back way down at 250 units. I’m going to grind arena and try doing some of the variants to stack some units back but doubt I’ll be able to recover. At least I have 10 guaranteed GGCs
I didn't do much in last year's cyber weekend or banquet event as there wasn't anything for Paragon players. I was still a Paragon at the time of spring cleaning and didn't spend any units. Valient now with 30k units, hopefully there would be something good this year. FYI I'm f2p 😊

Honestly didn’t plan on grinding until I saw the champ buffs and found out they would be tied to banquet. Just hit 10k today and plan on grinding until I hit 15k.
Would you say the Banquet event will have better rewards than say the Cyber Weekend unit based offers? I always worry about spending units on the wrong thing...I've only got 10k units, seems like I'll need basically all of it for Banquet, leaving very little for the big sales. More grinding is clearly in my future =\

@@CynLeDariusI do all 3. But the 4-7* arena gives the most battlechips. I was able to save up to 2 million battlechips twice this year and got a minimum of 4000 units from the thronebreaker crystals each time

I'm already at 10k units, I don't know why people are so excited for banquet events. I mean the rewards are not that worth unless there is a tons of T6 CC or T4 alpha catalyst & some 7* champs. Because I do not need 6* champs/T6 basic T3 alpha. I don't care about them. Instead of spending units in banquet event, I would prefer to spend in black friday in november end.
I'm already thinking about next year's unit deals tbh. Banquet is gonna suck as usual, and unless cyber weekend gives r4 mats then it's just more of the same. Next year is where the real next level stuff is gonna start creeping in. I don't want to waste units on rng mats that I already earn easily.
@ if your roster is big enough to do the featured and basic arenas then an hour a day will be enough. Spend an hour to get all of the units in the basic and then the next day spend an hour to in the featured. Plus the first two milestones of the 4* arena All the milestones in both arenas will give you 270 units. You get that twice a week. So 540. Then 4 weeks in a month is 2160 units. Then you’ll have a bunch of battle chips to open and if you’re lucky you can get another 1000+ units. Then there’s going to be stuff like the 24 hour event that has 25 units in it. Also if you don’t mind spending, you can get the summoner sigil that gives around 100 units a week. Plus arena express, makes arena so much faster. Also the unit daily card, gives you 600 total units over the month. And then if you wanna go even further, you can grind all of the lower levels of the EQ. They all give units. Also, we don’t know what exactly what’s coming in November so there could be a little event that gives units. Just gotta wait and see. Like I said it’s going to be a lot of grinding but it’s possible.

You can definitely hit 8-10k if you grind enough. October 16th I had 8k units and today I just hit 10k. That was with me spending units occasionally.
