I think you lack understanding too. An intention to do something in the future cannot be punished now as per the judgement of the SC. Politics is making all NDC lawyers not accept the fact Mr. Blay is saying. The Supreme Court is the only body which can interpret Laws in Ghana and they did exactly that. If the affected MPs are accepted back, it means what the lawyers speaking for the SC judgement is true

Because conspiracy is also a future action, it does not exist, but when police deduced that your thoughts for the future would breach any law or peace, the police quickly change you to court for conspiracy to cause a crime even though you haven't cause any crime at the time. What Tsatsu is saying or i understand him is that: you cannot file your nomination as an mp without indicating which party's ticket you are filing ur nomination. And one cannot stand on a party's ticket without being a member of that party. In other words, one has to switch his/her party, in this 8th parliament be4 one can file nomination to contest for a seat in the 9th parliament on the ticket of that party. So the switch takes place in the current. For me, Tsatsu has made the issue very clear.

And Freddie Blay fumbled throughout appearing to not even understand what Tsatsu Tsikata was saying. The constitution did not mention filing of papers to contest future elections anywhere but like the mischievous Torkonoo supreme court that is what he sought to cling unto.
The Supreme court says if you abandon your party or independent status . The evidence is that all of them did exactly that right now , not in the future.

Freddie Blay wasn't the perfect match for His Eminence Tsatsu Tsikata. This was a mismatch. There's nothing substantial in Blay's submissions. Tsatsu Tsikata was well-composed because he possessed much substance to submit. Oh my! See the decency and decorum with which Tsatsu submits his points. This is so excellent 👏
