I don't mean any harm, but these guys sound no smarter or more informed than any of us sitting around talking about the Commanders. This was absolutely a waste of time.
@samfike3850 My experience has been that those who cover/discuss the team have at least a bit more knowledge than us "common folks". This sounds like stuff I'd say. 🤷🏽♀️
I think he popped his cartilage between his ribs, which is *VERY PAINFUL* and is something that can happen when you get folded onto yourself with force. I'm not a doctor and I can only relay what I learned through my personal experience with popped (dislocated/dislodged) rib cartilage - it is an injury through which athletes can typically compete without fear of long-term damage, but it usually comes down to a matter of pain tolerance; most people would agree that pro athletes _tend_ to have higher pain tolerances, and that pro football training staffs have methods to assist athletes competing through pain. If I were to make a bet, I'd say the training staff took JD5 back to take x-rays, then gave him something for the pain in anticipation of him returning to the game. When the Commanders scored before the half, they decided there wasn't any need to risk JD's health, so they (rightly) decided to sit him. It explains the lack of update before the half and why JD5 was acting like he was pain free during the 2nd half.
That injury will affect his ability to throw more than run .. body torque dudes .. its a tissue issue from the way it's being worded .. more than just bruised ribs .. you can function with that discomfort and it heals up quickly with treatment ..
It’s pretty simple guys, if he just has to deal with the discomfort and it doesn’t inhibit his flexibility, it’s on the player to determine his own pain threshold. He’s going to play, and they’ll probably call a slightly conservative game for him.
@@mallurypollard7815 I don’t get this comment, I’m sure they are getting paid to put this out based on views. Via ads. But if the audio quality is poor people won’t come back for commander news. I hope this clears this up for you.
I really don’t get why anyone would Risk this dude being hurt more and missing a prolonged period of time instead of a week smh 🤦♂️ Washington doing Washington things. The bears have a physical defense, I’m sorry it won’t work out well
Umm no, teams will absolutely be secretive when it comes to certain injuries especially ones where a guy is week to week. This has been practiced for decades. Why hide when a guy is out for the year? Its almost like you wanna provide intel for the Bears..

That’s literally the point of the show
I agree

Damn this audio is scuffed up to!!!!!!
How are these guys still on the radio? Who legit wakes up and starts their day, wanting to listen to this ?
Mariotta's first 8 passes says it all. I was impressed after that
Start Mariota and see how he does. He's playing well and Daniels needs healing and practice on his contact technique. Very simple.
You wouldn’t have to even hit Jayden in the ribs just act like you are and if he flinches he’s hurt!
Protect bro. I wouldn’t even let JD talk to fans fr.

HTTR!!!
HTJD5!!!
Anybody, Anywhere, Anytime!!!

C'mon guys. You know damn well he took the needle not an oral pain killer
Can you please fix your audio!!! Every single video you guys put out the audio is terrible!
Oh no. The free content on the free website isn’t perfect. 😭

@@mallurypollard7815 and even your video with 34 views has better audio quality! Keep pushing!
Bubble wrap the franchise player.. nooo brainer
Not concerned but he should be mandated to wear a kevlar vest when in the field bc this won't be the last time ribs get impacted by a helmet.
They be gunning for them now. Thank goodness we down with the dirty Ravens. They would probably throw body puches
