Hej Marc! Any vent is better than no vent :) Dorado box is ok. Only when I go to havy sailing contitions I remove the upper tube because its interference with vang rope. yes agree, I need renew my vent this spring. Air circulation inside my cabin is bad at the moment. What is the sika material you used, the white stuff and what is it for?
It's a SikaFlex sealing in smaller tube. It's a must for any deck sealing. But not instead of gelcoat filler or similar for old screw holes as you saw on my video :\ www.sika.com/en/solutions_products/industry-markets/marine-market/marine/leisure-boats-yachts/01a006sa02100.html
