I know this is kinda late but I have a funny story. Once me and my friend were taking our reborns out to the store together with her parents. Mine is closed eyes and hers is open eyed so this person came up to us and told us it was weird that one of our babies were sleeping and one wasn't. We told her they were dolls and she was so surprised!

Hi Shell. Your toddler is gorgeous and I love your tips. When I'm taking my baby out in the buggy or pram during the summer months (it's winter in the UK at the moment so it's freezing!), I always take a muslin swaddle blanket with me and use a couple of pram/stroller clips to keep it in place when I drape the muslin over the hood. Use PayPal, join FB reborn groups and ask people on there if a place your looking at buying from is safe/ screenshots etc or ask for a safe Artist list - ask for a saftey photo (the account name you’re buying from written on paper and in a photo with the baby, if you think it’s too good to be true it is probably a scam!! I hope this helps :)

I stumbled across this video and I think its amazing that these dolls are created for people who long for children but can't have them there so lovely well done

There are also so many other reasons why people have them, doll collecting(me), depression, anxiety, enjoy being around babies but are to old, to young or not ready to have babies - also me), dementia, empty nest syndrome and many more reasons ❤️
But wouldn't having a reborn remind somebody of something they don't have?! I have an Ashton Drake Doll and another doll (different brand, probably generic) but this is what I think. I don't have children (maybe too old at 38 and single), but I would think that actually pretending to care for them, it wouldn't really be the same since they don't grow up and or they don't have real needs, just saying.
You are right, Having the read deal is completely different but for some people it helps to fill a hole for a little while. If you enjoy it then why not 🤷🏼♀️😊
If you are a parent and have a little one please do not follow the tip of looking “realistic” putting a Muslim over a pushchair in the heat! You defiantly should not you could harm your baby as the temperature in the pushchair will increase olessse do your research

Sunglasses on an open eyed baby does wonders as long as you can’t see through the lenses the baby looks like it’s asleep works wonders

Get a second hand one and clean it up, I’m sure she will still love it. Try a Doona. Although they can be pricey even second hand.

You could follow these tips, use a hat, blanket and a dummy but don’t add too many accessories as it will clutter.
