Suggestion: contact VShojo and have them create a corporate account for your use that’s maintained in their name so it can’t be banned. It would be considerably easier if you were actually pull your sword and start attacking.
From the way I experienced nier, I think it is better to play automata than replicant. But that’s cause I’m not a normal person and I read every log in games. I learned about gestalt and the twins and the backstory with automata. Then I played replicant and it enhanced my experience by knowing what was going on. Maybe I’m just weird, but I loved it.

The way I think of it is that in automata, when there are references to stuff from replicant, its alot more satisfying when you already knew the previous game, cause its like "OOH, THEY MENTIONED IT!" or "OH, THE LIBRARY!". Basically, things you were familiar with and didnt expect to find appear suddenly and make you happy. Meanwhile, if you played auomata first, there is no reaction to it. At least the library, I can imagine players being like "whats this gestalt stuff? Now im even more confused. There was no mention of this" (never saw anyone react like this but I could imagine people) and then, WHEN they finally played replicant, in the first minutes of the game they would instantly see "oh look, its the library" "oh look its those characters" "i thought they would me more important" "i didnt think id be seeing them so early". Basically, from replicant to automata, you are surprised when the first game is mentioned, surprised with what was familiar from the first game. Meanwhile, playing automata first makes you see things that you don't know about, only to then become familiar with when you play replicant, makes those moments duller imo. I know that the story is mainly about the main characters and that in itself isnt spoiled in automata, but big stuff is. Even the inclusion of certain characters makes it a spoiler. I played thr xbox nier first, but only after automata was popular and from trailers i already knew certain characters would appear, and I spent the whole game wondering if they were the same, if it was just others dressed as them, how is this possible, how important are they (cause they didnt seem that important to the game for alot of it) and I wish it would have come kore unexpectedly. You could argue replicant spoils a thing from automata too, but that thing, based on the ending E released in Grimoir Nier, could have not been true. This version made a character human, giving hope that that something wouldn't happen. That might be a bit of a stretch, but even so I beleive automata has alot more info about replicant then vice versa. Yes the new ending E adds automata like stuff, but idk, they just added the aesthetic to an already written ending to make fans happy, and be coherent with established representations of things in the sequel. But yeah, I can see your reason. Assuming the player loves reading all the logs, it would kinda be like reading history books and then experiencing what happened yourself.
Bayonetta was made for Mel, at least in terms of character design. Don't know how she'd do with the gameplay though given how much she forgets that 2B has a sword lol

I agree. Once she finishes this, she should play Bayonetta. Similar things to like about it.
