this would not be a good example for her being one of the best to be honest. this is the only thing i have heard from her so she may be very good but this playing would not put her in the top 100
@@yalec4897 Yep, there are countless male "blues" guitarists (and Joanne Shaw Taylor too) that are better than Samantha Fish. But she is fearless about playing on stage with any of them and she gets better all the time. Her record producer Mike Zito is a better guitarist than Samantha and they love to play off one another on stage. There are many videos uploaded here of the two of them playing together. I hope you have been able to see more of her these past 3 months. She is expanding her scope all the time. She is becoming more expressive with her vocals and is one of the more interesting voices in the blues genre.
As of this moment I have a new favorite Sam video, supplanting the exceptional Either Way I Lose/Somebody's Always Tryin' piece shot in Germany. That's one of the most visceral examples of pure emotion expressed through a guitar I think I've ever witnessed. god I wish I'd been there.
