bron has publically said repeatedly for years that bronny is special because he can choose any lane he wants and he'd still be proud of him and then listed things like chef, gamer (hes good at cod apparently) etc but still chose to play basketball. so from the outside looking in, it seems like lebron has given him every out to do whatever he wants. the singular mistake lebron made was his comment about bronny being better than some guys in the league. Even if he genuinely believed it, he shouldnt have said it. But also, its important to note that it was before bronny went into cardiac arrest. And at the time bronny was hanging with the best players in the nation in high school

If Lebron actually thought his kid would be an NBA star, he wouldn’t have rushed him into the NBA. He would have let him develop then get that first round contract. I think he’s a huge piece for a lot of teams. Just imo after Bridges acquisition, idk where he fits. Team really started to flourish after he went down. Guys like Hart and Donte had more touches, and they already obv had chemistry dating back with Brunson, so they really started to flow end of reg season/beginning of playoffs. I’d just look for complimentary pieces around that big 4 now, OG and try the best to replace Hartenstein and look can that with a Randle trade. It makes sense.

The quality of competition exploded from 1992. The foreign players look it as an audition and ball out now. The challenge with Olympic basketball is that you have a lot more NBA players born in other countries or that can claim other country's nationality by parents. Those players come to the USA, gain a lot of skills and become citizens. But when it's Olympic-time, they play for where they were born...not to who they pledged allegiance too. So they play for their bloodline but not for their new adopted country who brought them in.
