Wayne is the absolute worst "friend" a person could have. He knew how bad Chris was struggling. He also knew that $14 meant way more to Chris than it did to him. How can someone actually look themselves in the mirror when they burn their friends in need like that? Shameful.
To be fair it's probably a good learning experience for the child as they learn how to survive on nothing, they learn how cruel the world is to adults and well yea being in this situation will very likely create a hunger/drive/motivation to make something out of their life's and become rich as hell when they get older no matter what
I ain’t broke but i feel pretty alone with my son in my current situation. I definitely feel like I have that stressed look he has in his face. That “sure man, why not” when his son asks “should I go?” This movie hits a lot different then when I saw it as a teenager
