  • In the second of our virtual 'Back to School with LumaFusion' series, we discuss the five core editors: Frame and Fit, Speed, Stabalization, Audio and Color and Effects. You'll use these every time you edit, so hop on board and ask us any questions you like!
    This session also introduces editors to getting started with keyframing and creating presets, so you can edit both faster and more creatively!

    You guys are doing such a fantastic work with this app. Over the years it has become my go to app for video editing on my iPad. I have always wanted a quality editor to use on the go when travelling and Lumafusion is just amazing! Many thanks for all the work supporting it.

    First of all: Love the app! (Hence I bought it of course...)
    And this training vid is a big help for a struggling starting editor like myself - and struggle I do.
    It occurs to me the Stabilising option is not in my Android version - is this because of you showing this on an iPad?
    Second: Somehow when I am in "Color and Effects" I can see the direct "choices" you can make in the top, but no longer can I see below what is already chosen - or its configuration.
    All I see is the "Save effect preset", nothing below - whether I click on anything above or not.
    Somehow my finger must have slipped and kicked all this off...
    Does this even sound comprehensible..? Or is this an RTFM issue :)

      Hi there, and thank you for the note. First off, thanks for the kind words... and stick with it; the struggle is worth it! We'll keep doing our best to make it all make sense.
      The Android version does not yet feature image stabilization, but our engineers are working on it, and we're optimistic it'll make it into a release before too long.
      On the Color & Effects question, I am not certain I follow, but perhaps you've closed the control tab for the effects you're wishing to work on? This might be best addressed with a detailed note to our Support team: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). They'll get you squared away with some 1:1 troubleshooting in no time.
      Thanks for using LumaFusion!

    Dear @lumatouch,
    I bought this video editor on Android (Samsung S9 Tab Ultra). I have Sony Alpha A IV camera and I made some videos in 4:2:2 10 bit. Sad to see that it can't handle these type of videos (just smaller and worse 4:2:0). It's a bit annoying because I paid for it and it can't even do as much as a free video editor. I wasn't aware that the functions and capabilities aren't the same as Apple. I thought it could be competitive with Final Cut Pro but i was wrong.

    • @LumaTouch
      @LumaTouch  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, and thanks for the note. I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment. LumaFusion will only be able to work with file types that are supported by the device it's running on. The iOS devices do offer support for higher end media, so the iOS version of the app can edit with those.
      Our engineers are working steadily to bring the Android/Chrome version's feature set into parity with the iOS version, and we're working with Google to level up some of the AV capabilities on their operating system also.
      Thanks for using LumaFusion.

    Sometimes when I’m trying to add a key frame or any edit to a layer, I select the frame, go to frame and fit but then LF wants to edit a different layer. I go back and reselect the layer again but when I click on F&F or Key framing it goes to the wrong layer. Frustrating. Thanks if you can help.

      Hi there--that doesn't sound like fun at all. Your best bet will be to reach out to our Support team, to get some 1:1 support. lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support' link).
      They likely will ask to see your project, and they'll get you going again with it. If there's a bug, your help will be key in getting it documented and squashed. Thanks!

    Is sound isolation and stabilization only available for apple users? I have your program on my Samsung tablet, but these 2 features don't appear to be there.?

      Currently it's being developed for the Android version, but it is not yet included. We hope to have it ready soon--though I don't have a hard timeframe on that for you. Thanks for your patience as we continue to work to bring the versions closer to feature parity.

    Does lumafusion support dng format as a sequence?

    • @LumaTouch
      @LumaTouch  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. iOS doesn't yet support DNGs, either as single images or as sequences. You'll need to convert the images to a format iOS can parse. Here's a paper we wrote about that: luma-touch.helpscoutdocs.com/article/5-what-types-of-media-are-supported-by-lumafusion

    In lumafusion Android we can't export in 60fps ? Is 30fps maximum?

    • @LumaTouch
      @LumaTouch  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, this might be a limitation of your device--the App will support 60fps exports when the device is capable of doing so. I'd encourage you to reach out to our Support team to get some 1:1 troubleshooting if that sounds off to you: lumatouch.co/support (tap 'email Support'). Thanks for watching, and happy editing!
