- Watched several TH-cam videos to learn how to install temporary electrical power pole. They were helpful but always missing some parts of the installation. I thought it would be helpful if I can record entire process from the start to finish. Drawings and shopping list is also available at sciencebefores...

Great Job, 比电工更专业。
Thanks for your compliment,
I love your pioneering spirit and narration! This is the most comprehensive video I have found on the temp service installation I have come across. I am a degreed photographer and commend you on your photography and editing (even with the $19 tripod mishap). That just keeps it fun and real. Keep up the great work and above all, enjoy. I myself just turned 50 and try to keep a similar spirit to keep life fresh👍
Thanks for your compliment, KG. I enjoyed every step of the process and I am quite sure you will enjoy your project also. By sharing what we have learned and encouraging each other, we can make our lives more meaningful. Thanks again.
The best video out there on this.
Thanks for your compliment. It means a lot to me.
I like tha way you work but the main wire you used are aluminum wires and its not by the NEC
Selecting the right wire was a crucial aspect that I entrusted to seasoned professionals. To ensure precision in my choice, I opted to patronize a local supply store catering specifically to professionals. Engaging in insightful conversations with electricians, the store manager, and the knowledgeable staff, I received unanimous recommendations for #2 aluminum wire as the most fitting option. While acknowledging the possibility of differing opinions, I find it essential to highlight, in this video which I didn't, the inherent disorganization and confusion within electrical codes. I thought it was unorganized purposedly to discourage DIYer such as myself from doing it my own. It passed inspections.
Probably should’ve waited to post until the end lol my apologies
😂 Luckily, the inspector gave me an A+ on this project.
Electrician here, is that electrical pvc glue? Doesn’t look like anything we use in MN
Yes, it is PVC glue.
The great thing about being a diy’er is doing things to a higher level. We don’t tape connections as electricians. That’s for plumbers. You. An save yourself money by using aluminum.
You are absolutely right. While working on this project I realized that. Thanks for your encouragement.
when is part 2 coming out very good so far. Thanks
Thanks. My electrician went vacation LOL I am waiting for him to come back. But I will post very soon.
