Cowichan Feather Fanciers
The Cowichan Feather Fanciers Club was founded in the early 1980 by a group of very dedicated and determined people. We are located in Duncan on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Our organization promotes the hobby of Fancy Poultry, Waterfowl & Pigeons in all it's forms, by encouraging the safeguard of Rare breeds and Heritage breeds in friendly competition as well as being an excellent hobby for our 4H.
We hold two Poultry shows every year one non formal at the Duncan Fair and a second show a sanction APA show usually held in the Fall in Duncan BC. Over the years the Club has grown and become very competitive throughout B.C. and Alberta.
We are a group of men and women, boys and girls, with one common interest, the breeding and showing of Pigeons, Poultry and Waterfowl. Our members participate and exhibit in the many Fairs and Exhibitions throughout British Columbia & Alberta.
Our shows are open to visitors.
Great 'swap' meet! I wish we had something like it.
Great video! I occasionally take my quail there, so if you're interested head on over!
good video and interesting to a person like me just getting into birds. Shame the audio was so low that I had to go back and relisten to what was said many times
The prices depend on the breed and quality. the hatchery stock is so diluted its not worth it
Some breeds cost allot more then others. Like the partridge Orpingtons cost around $500.00 EACH! ...lol...But they are kinda rare.....But you can get popular/common breeds for $2-$6!
$25 WHat??
You can buy them for $2-$6 you know. Sometimes you can find them for free even.
Chickens are awesome. What is the chicken swap anyway?
