Congratulations on another notch. It seems to be like most steps and experiences in aviation. Can be intimidating but if you prepare properly and stay on your game it is easier than expected. BTW you need that Garmin autopilot. That would keep you well ahead of the plane with minimal effort. Almost to the point you might feel guilty logging the hours.
Thanks, Terry. Yes, that GFC500 would be amazing, but sadly it's just not in the cards right now - too much money gone into my plane already this year! My Century III works quite well, even if it doesn't support altitude preselect, and it doesn't capture/follow a glideslope right now (not sure what's wrong, but it captures it, but then starts climbing instead of descending). For now, that'll have to do. :)
