भारत मे प्रारंभ से दो परंपरा समांतर रूप se रही है जिनका origin के विषय मे कोई नही बता पाया अभी तक- *श्रमण परंपरा* और *वैदिक परंपरा*
बाद मे समय के प्रभाव से इन्ही दोनो परंपराओं ने अलग अलग भारतीय धर्मो को जन्म दिया, और इंदु शब्द से हमारी सस्कृति को सम्मिलित रूप से "हिंदु" संस्कृति की पहचान मिली.. तो-
*जैन धर्म * है,जिसकी *श्रमण परंपरा* है और संस्कृति *हिंदू* है
और *शैव/वैष्णव/शाक्त धर्म* है, जिसकी *वैदिक परंपरा* है और *हिंदू संस्कृति* है
आगे जाकर *श्रमण परंपरा* से ही *बौद्ध धर्म* का भी शृजन हुआ
और एक बार फिर अत्याचार बढ़ने से *वैदिक परंपरा* से ही (परंपरा श्रमण और अन्य नवीन परंपरा के प्रभाव से) *सिख धर्म* का शृजन हुआ...
इस तरह जब जब अधर्म बढ़ा हर *धर्म * एक नए रूप मे आया... प्रत्येक धर्म स्वयं में पूर्ण है और अपने अपने उद्देश्यों के अनुसार नियम, विश्वास और आस्था का प्रतीक है...
एक समय ऐसा आया जब सभी धर्म एक दूसरे से लड़ने और एक दूसरे को नीचा दिखाने में लग गए तब शैव संत *शंकराचार्य जी* ने सभी भारतीय धर्मो को सम्मिलित रूप से "सनातन* का नाम दिया था.... इस तरह कोई धर्म किसी का पंथ नही है पर है हर धर्म के अंदर उनके पंथ है (jaise जैनो मे श्वेतम्बार, दिगंबर.. बौद्ध me हीनयान ,महायान, वज्रयान.... सिख मे खालसा पंथ, नानकपंथी, निर्मला etc....)
वैदिक परंपरा जो कालांतर मे खुद मे एक धर्म हो गयी इसलिए इसे *वैदिक धर्म* या संस्कृति के प्रभाव से *हिंदू धर्म* भी कहा जाने लगा और इसमें अनेक पंथ है जैसे शैव,वैष्णव, शाक्त,
कुछ सूफी पथ, कबीर पंथ etc etc

I never knew who you were until I saw you on Kapil Show. You are amazingly genius, the way you present, explain and take interviews. Wish all had teachers like you in Schools. Yes the day world starts following the principles like Jainism and Ahimsa, the world will be a heaven with no crime but prosperity and happiness for all. Bharat desh was named after King Bharat who was also a Jain along with Chandragupta Maurya unfortunately Jains who were a majority then are facing extinction.

I was literally shocked to learn about Jain's been only 0.3% contribute to 25% of Income tax. I have a couple of Jain friends, they all are well mannered, honest, disciplined and good in finance.
