    Tamo junto meu manoooooooo

my dream bass are the trb6P of the 80s early 90s, with 34 inch scale, neck throught and piezo pickup under the bridge but they are really hard to find so i'm also looking for a JP1 which are really similar, same pickup, scale lenght but are bolt on instead of neckthrought. ( it even have the same flame maple on the body). but the JP2 is entirely different with its 35 scale and 26 fret whereas the first jp1 felt like a continuation of the trb6P and trb6 of the 90s, the JP2 felt like a true signature model that was made for pattitucci first and for the consumer second.

@@champ6436 I played a couple of times on a TRB6P (dark blue) bass. Very solid build, great tone and super comfortable action apart from the giant string spacing. Personally i`ve played 35 inch scale 6 string basses for the past 20 years , but i find the 34 inch ones far more comfortable. My Fender jazz bass 6 string (Steve Bailey signature model) was a 34incher and i really liked it very much...but that bass had other issues that never justified it`s price unlike (older) Yamaha basses which are bulletproof and worth paying above 2 or 3K USD for a used one.

@@stratrovarius i nearly got a trb6P for 1000 euro few weeks ago but someone beat me to it just a few minute before i made my offer i was mad :). suck that there is so little 6 string jazz bass out there for the time being my only option are some old yamaha or the new Xotic xj1t6. also because i'm looking for 18-19mm string spacing too. most of the brand out there are just 16.5 or 17mm ( i think the indonesian trb1006 are 17mm that why i never bought one). i considered buying a cheap cort 6 string because of its value ( 900 buck but with hipshot gear, bartolini electronic) but the tight string spacing was also an issue there.
