I love the way you unpacked the words spontaneous and guilt. We use words and often they encapsulate a whole load of concepts, more than we are are immediately aware of.

I'm 39 and last year I dated a lot - many first dates and a few short relationships, but no titles and no reliability for making plans. In your framework I see it was highly chaotic and left me feeling very anxious, and find this anxiousness coming into new connections. Thinking about my childhood, it was also like this with my father - spontaneous and no reliability to making future plans. In the new year, how might I move away from my attraction to this highly chaotic place in romantic relationships that is so anxious but so familiar?
