Hi, I am the actual owner of this trx6.
The steering wheel has mini servo which is connected with the main steering servo with a custom made link and I had the holes drilled through the arms of the figure all the way vto the shouders and connected the arms to the steerring wheel with a rubber band so that they can move as the steering wheels move.
It is very complicated to explain in words.

TRX6 is the maximum. Sincererely fantastic video, spectacular. I have one almost identical (No kayak), white too, Same combo KV300 esc 550 , untouched pinion. The mechanical improvement is superlative.
Now I bought another TRX6 to build a Land Rover Defender 6x6. The time and effort (and $$$) required are very big... Trx6, 2 trx4 body clear, 4 tamiya paint boxes, the combo, a servo more powerful, sound unit , cooler, ufff but the final result .. worth......

@@dannykham2012 and nothing that a good clean afterwards cant fix. I know a guy who always uses his crawler like a submarine 🤣...pretty much all stock, in deep muddy water (admittedly its not salt water but still)...and yet it all works fine. But then he regularly strips the parts that can get damaged and cleans them eg bearings, joints etc.
Man these new RCs have come a long way...I remember back in the 70s and 80s when I drove a car through a puddle it would stop and die 🤦♂️🤣
That’s how i feel when i drive my car on roads in New Hampshire.
@@friktionrc I drove my Traxxas Rustler 4x4 vxl through a puddle (didn’t even go under the water) and now it runs slow, as if the battery wasn’t charged even though the battery IS charged. And I checked the voltage of the battery and it seems to be working fine 🤷♂️ my guess is that the motor might have been damaged, which is weird because the RC’s box says it’s Waterproof

Saltwater left in the beach ponds will corrode the metal and electronics if not washed away. The metal contactors will turn green fast upon impact with saltwater. Make sure to rinse your RC vehicle thoroughly after use to prevent damage!

I just installed the same setup in my trx4. It is amazing!! Running a 12t pinion and stock spur. Crawls amazing and still goes fast for a crawler. I installed a 16t pinion for fun and it really flies!!!
The speed is going to be very fast. Enjoy !

@@dannykham2012 only true bro...these vids are one of my defualt 'go to' vids I show my non RC friends and family when I want to show not only how good the hobby is, but how realistic they and the filming is.....as you can imagine they are all extremely impressed. Me? as someone who finds editing a big headache (even just a short 3min video where I have like 10mins of footage 🤦♂️🤣) I can really appreciate the patience and skills needed not just to film these videos but also edit them so top marks all round 👍
