I love when Asian drama's have intelligent male leads who aren't ambiguously 'nice' to the scheming woman and give her the impression what she's doing is ok and she has hope if it wasn't for their current girlfriend/fiancée/wife. I love when they set them straight from the start and stand fast in their no even when the schemer makes things difficult for them to try and force them. Especially on the rare occasions such as this where he tells her outright she doesn't 'like' him but he's just the one that fits her requirements to get what she wants.
That's not a warden, he's Jiusi's maternal uncle who was locked up for being connected to Lord Liang, a rebel general whom Gu Jiusi killed during siege of Wangdu. He's rich so his cell has a lot of extra commodities.
I love this drama eveb thou I did not see it fully because no english translation I saw only the highlights till the end ... this about husband and wife who love each other truly..❤❤❤❤one of the best..
