For anyone coming back to this masterpiece of a vod, loyalty seems to be a combination of scolding and praising as in you need both in order to even be able to push further than 50 loyalty since it takes the average between them. So praising and getting +12 for the first time would mean you'd have (12+0)/2= 6 loyalty. The distribution is then displayed by the 'style' stat with 'even' being the one you want to steer towards as it'll be the only one enabling you to get to 100 loyalty

His way of playing this reminds me of how I played it as a kid. It really would've made all the difference in the world if fatigue and stress had visible meters. This and Joel's streams of this made me grab the port on Switch. Raised my first monster blind, but very lax and cheaply. It's fun in its own way to feel out the mechanics yourself, but boy does it get stressful if you run your funds into the ground before your monster really gets going. Though it's also interesting to see under the hood and see the effects of stress and fatigue. Because CHRIST is it easy to cut down your monster's already brief lifespan, especially with Heavy Drills and Errentries.
Adventure locations with rare items that are worth it are always few in number and typically hard to aquire. For example some of the best items and the strongest monster unlocks are gained by doing adventures. With that said 2 locations have rare unlocks or worth while item like gold peach. Also to do a monster needs three key stats. Life to give more exploration time in increments of 70. Strength to break things. intelligence to find things. Rare things are hider to find, on exception is joker mask to get the death jester. You need over 300ski for that.

Its a classic case of streamer blames games for not understanding invisible meters and formulas the game doesnt even hint at. Yeah Tomato is playing the game veryyy inefficiently and thats not the problem.. But he could at least not give hate towards the game and just say he doesnt care enough to fully learn the mechanics.. He could have easily unlocked the monsters playing thr game so he could find them in shrine in the time he spent trying to find "something cool" and getting mad because they were locked behind progress and secrets.
It is actually annoying af though. Its not hard for it to at the very least not kick you out of the search engine too. its not fun exiting the menu over and over again yk. And yeah there are other ways, but the disks with the album name is part of the fun

Then the shrine would be 100percent unlocked and he could find all the harder to obtain monsters there. Like Mock/Joker/Bajarl/undine/Wracky/Dragon/Dullahan/Metalner/Zilla/Phoenix/Beaclons/Ghosts/Duckens/Gaboos/Nitons etcetc. .. And others. Theres more locked monsters than there are unlocked monsters at game start. Hence why the majority of the time randomly searching youll get the message you cant obtain this monster. But unlocks are not time consuming or very difficult to get.
Here's a thought: Is it really a good game if you need to study its hidden mechanics online so it's not frustrating? Because to me that makes a game fairly bad to be honest, and getting on the streamer for not knowing there were educational prerequisites to playing a videogame seems kinda silly.
@@erisofterra8986 The exploration and learning of efficient ways to raise a monster IS the game though. Any monster in the game is capable of beating the toughest tournaments if raised right. Knowing from the getgo sort of trivializes things.. But being able to have any monster type which is what Tomato wanted- something that looks cool.. Doesnt make the game any easier- just more entertaining for him and viewers and more time to actually play to see how different styles of raising effect the monster. His style of ignoring rest during a monsters prime and buffing it with drugs would make you come to the quick realization that its wrong to do when the monster that could possibly live 9 or 10 years dies before its 3rd birthday.. Not that Tomato would likely understand why this happened or care because its just a one-off.
