As usual, fantastic commentary by Billy and Danny!
Legendary. Could listen to them commentate a thumb wrestling match and be entertained lol
I see Tony Chohan I press play and like before the video even starts
This may not have been for the championship but they were great. Fantastic shotmaking!
Tony C. he is awesome as is Danny S. What a treat watching them.
Pat's investment in pool is philanthropic. Top drawer👍
WOW great match!!!!!!
Great match 👏
Man I wish I could leave this video a dozen likes!
both guys shot the stunt shots- improbable banks- but they shot them because the shots were on( sort of) and they didn't sell out. Gave me new ideas after many years of one-pocket study and play..... treat shots billy called them......
Wow! What a comeback. Never give in. It truly appeared "cut and dry" ........... BUT!!! Great Match! And the commentary --- much RESPECT & APPRECIATION!!! Be Safe
Excellent Match. Some really great shotmaking by both players
Can the players here the commentators? and why does the ref reach his hand where the balls are in between shots?? please someone answer
The players don't hear the commentators. The commentators are in a sound booth. The ref is taking the balls from the ball-tray to place the balls in a place for all to see. It's not a "drop pocket" table. It's a "ball return" table.
@@AccuStats thank you got bless love the games!
24:55 WOW, nice
How is that even possible?? wow...
thanks as always
Thanx for posting this. You boys in Jersey are ok.
Nice comeback!
Ngl I'm sad that Danny was only 1-3 here, he came in the previous year and played probably the best 1 pocket I've ever seen. What happened to him, i haven't seen him around at all
this is very entertaining. most players would be intimidated
24:56 amazing shot
36:00 is also amazing
24:50 Easily one of the most unique shots I've ever seen.....intentional ya think? Probably not but wow.
@James Tyler yeah, he was trying to clear the pocket. Hit the bottom rail first with inside. There are numerous clips on here of him and others making that shot.
That's a pretty common way to clear a ball sitting like that. I've seen those go in numerous times. Tony is one of the best at them.
thats how u play one pocket---intelligent aggression
I could tell you some great stories about Danny. I once saw him beat the brakes off a guy playing one handed and using his foot to bridge the cue lol
Brutal.
Danny Smith, about 7 or 8 times hit his shots so much harder than he should have. Good player, but it's hard for me to understand the lack of touch on these shots.
Alot of good players shoot certain shots harder than necessary just to try to intimidate the opponent. Seems foolish, let your ball count be the intimidating factor.
♥♥ At 29:31 into the video, I can't believe the referee moved that striped ball.
Sheer carelessness.
Mistakes happen, he's the ref. He put it back where it was. No biggie.
hahahahhahaha
hard to watch but hes worse to listen to
Danny D was great player in his time. And he does have tons of knowledge on one pocket and pool in general. However...the commentary style needs a lil work. The same expressions endlessly.... he left a bank....no he didnt... lol. I've come to a point of appreciation where I just chuckle now. But it is nice to mix it up and hear others also at times.
well put
Lol the introduction took longer than the last game lol
I think I'm watching a different match than Danny
They need to take away the mic from the older guy
danny d isnt a op player--his discipline was straight pool..........
Those pockets are huge for one pocket
Major mental shift from Smith, no bueno.
I know one pocket can be one of the hardest games to do commentary on. These guys just took away from the whole experience in my opinion. it really shouldn't feel like they have to fill every moment with some kind of talk. Other than that the guys play was entertaining because they did shots they usually wouldn't have if they were going into the finals..
I think the two commentators are some of the best in the business. With Mr Incardona being hands-down the best
I'm sure Danny was a world class player, commentator not so much. HORRIBLE
Danny you were an average poor pool player, your an even worst commentator.
Now we know what you don't know.
Chill there old timer
Danny was a world class player at one time and is one of the most knowledgeable people in the world in regards to pool. You might not like his commentary but you are wrong about average poor player.
The commentary is so bad.
whoever that old man is that just keeps throwing out his retarded guesses forced me to mute the video. question for anyone who actually listened to the whole commentary, did he ever end up saying anything remotely useful? serious question cuz i got to the 45min mark before i muted and imo he was worse than useless.
@@ekim319 Billy Incardona brings a lot of useful knowledge to the commentary. Danny Diliberto doesn't need to be anywhere near the microphone though. It's a weak attempt at comic relief that falls very short of the mark in my opinion.
Lol trying to dog on the two best one pocket commentators of all time. Shows alot about your game.
@@whoamifoo9075 , it doesn't show anything about their game. It shows that they have common sense and a little regard for useless Babble..
I don't know how you think that someone doesn't like a commentary and that somehow relates to their level of play.smdh
Anybody who thinks bad about the commentary knows nothing about 1 pocket. Both these guys were world class one pocket players. Every shot, they've seen thousands of times. They know what they are talking about and it's amazing when they point something out that makes me see what I hadn't.
I think it's time for Tony to retire.
