I’ve used the mid XA Forces for work and hiking for the last couple years and they’re still holding strong. Mine are non-GTX because my feet get hot and I’ve never had a better boot in my life.
Also have salawas firetail evo’s and arboro evo 2’s for tree work and like both those too…shoes/boots always been something I’ve loved since mom kept us in Jordan’s all through 80s/90s in school and wish I had all the sets she bought us…
Been wanting to give the Salawas a try, on my list! Also been considering the Belleville Boot Vapors which have a tennis shoe type sole on a tactical chassis, have heard mixed reviews reviews on durability though on those. The Altama Maritime assaults are also some of favs right now, especially in @relvcamo
@@XueEddie yeah all the colors, OD Green, Coyote/Tan, Chocolate Brown and Black do seem to fade in the sun a bit and after getting weathered a bit. Consider em broken in haha!!! Thanks for watching!
Had my forces 4yrs and still like new but I havnt used em n mountains yet but my quest 4d’s I’ve had since 14’ and still hike in eastern Ky jungles…shoe goo keeps soles goin when they start delaminating and havnt busted and seams I couldn’t fix yet but gettin close to the end…I’m hard on em though bending and scuffing alot on rocks and takes a good pair to hold up around here…have the ultras and xa pro’s 4yrs and prob 7yrs on low tops…soles on them are soft and eat away fast I found but traction is second to none…
Hello guy, I am undecided between the salomon xaforces mid gtx and salomon quest 4d 3forces mid model. I will not walk very long distances, but I will still walk and the transitions in the camp also make the parachute, wrist support is also important for me, quest force patterns and I can be very comfortable or after a soft sports shoes. It seemed a little harsh, the outdoor models were more comfortable, and now which one do you recommend for durability with the characteristics and features of xaforce mid? Should I endure the slightly harder and rougher quest model? I would be very happy if you could help me. Thank you for the review. It was very good.
@@huseyin1312 thank you for watching! I have not been able to try the Quest model boot yet. I would favor the mid gtx xa forces mostly because that is what I am used to and comfortable in. They haven’t let me down yet!
Do they breathe better than the quest forces 4d - my favorite boots but I have trouble wearing them above 65 Fahrenheit, the v8 ignite with my upgraded insoles I tend to roll my ankles.
@@johncouture6752 I would say they breathe about the same or on par with the quest forces 4d. Maybe a little less boot than those around the top of ankles.
@@anon1231 would work for a bit in snow, but probably not the optimal solution for deeper snow. They hold some water & don’t dry super fast unless you put in front of the fire or heater.

I got a black low edtion one, only thing I found not satisfied is the leather would get faded a bit and showing the dark green color

I have a set for work. They are good shoe/boot but I much prefer regular laces as compared to these speed laces.
Laced Salomon’s are always a good option too! Thank you for watching!
The XA Forces in Earth Brown looks the best to me.👌🏿 Wish they sold these in my country. 🇵🇬

Solid looking rigs. Seem comparable to the Lowas.

Their sizing is fucked up
