Honestly, I've never played Gloomhaven solo, but that will be sort of rectified soon when Jaws of the Lion arrives at my doorstep. But, that said, having played Gloomhaven a bunch non-solo, I'd be shocked if Gloomhaven provided a better solo experience. For one thing, you can't play Gloomhaven true solo; you have to play it two-handed. Of course, if you like the idea of a campaign in which you are levelling up characters slowly over the course of many games, Gloomhaven might be more what you are looking for out of the two games. Personally, what keeps me coming back to Mage Knight over and over is the experience of going from a relative weak hero to an insanely powerful one over the course of 1-2 hours, with an incredible amount of variable in-game experiences that make every game feel different. In contrast, Gloomhaven is a dungeon crawler, in which, as opposed to getting stronger in-game, your characters get weaker as they lose abilities and are just hoping to finish the scenario before becoming exhausted - it's excellent (obviously), but it's just not Mage Knight. Mine liberation, dungeon lords; etc. I find myself wanting to try these scenarios but I always stick with conquest due to the general setup taking so long I fall back to sticking to what I know. It would be nice to see how the scenarios are played by you so we, the viewers, can have a better understanding of them before we would play on our own. Love the content though. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! And, yes! - I'm planning to get to Mines Liberation and the couple other scenarios from the base game sometime early next year, once I'm done with the Tezla scenarios, a couple blitz scenarios, and revisiting the two Lost Legion scenarios.

Bro I just came in to update you that after some fails, I got my first win on HEROIC-TIGHT Volkare's return.. it was nuts! This is the game I felt the most overpowered on by far, had 2 elites in my army along with great spells, artifacts and advanced actions The final battle was a breeze, I literally killed the entire Volkare's army (7 tokens) in one turn.. never experienced that Amotep gunners just free killed a dragon with their ranged attack (plus had powered "into the heat" for all my units lol) 2 swiftness got rid of another token at the start. Burning shield blocked + killed the blocked target Then Tovak is just a beast at blocking enemies with his skill + cold toughness + the rest of my units while being under the "into the heat" effect easily blocked all but 1... and guess what I had after blocking 5 enemies? That's right, powered up "counterattack". Totaled up to 19 + 8 from Altem guardians in their into the heat condition which cleaned up the rest of the tokens in one attack (luckily nobody was physically resistant hahaha) Had to jump in here and share it with you cause you helped me get into the game more easily and no one else will understand what I'm talking about lol Such a satisfying win! This specific game felt even easier than the lowest difficulty because of how strong I became. Crazy.

I don't think the 480p is caused by your camera, especially if it is the same camera you use for your regular nonlive videos since those can play at at 1080p. When you stream with whatever platform (TH-cam, Twitch..etc), there should be a setting for you to choose stream resolution and the platform will usually automate encoder settings for you. 1080p means selecting 1920x1080. Now, it also depends on your internet quality. If you have poor connections and try to stream at a high quality, your viewers will experience buffering and lower quality anyway. If your connection is good then your current camera should support 1080p just fine. If not then you should continue at 480p to ensure a smooth experience for your viewers.
Thanks for the comment; it's really helpful. Clearly, I'm far from the most tech-minded person on TH-cam but it's been fun learning this stuff. I checked my Norowas video (my last Mage Knight live playthrough) and the quality acutally looks similar to me, but it might be too hard to tell with the glare issues present in that video. I've also just started turning off auto-focus because that was creating some strange effects in my videos, so I might do something slightly wrong in the way I do that. (As an aside, the edited videos I post are recorded via my computer and then uploaded, while I use OBS for my live streams - and I def have some more to learn about OBS.) I'm going to do a couple of private streams to TH-cam before the next live playthrough and see if I can level up my understanding here. :) Thanks again!
