How to Build the British Rail Class 08 Shunter Locomotive with Flatbed Wagon (MOC - 4K)

Building guide for my own small and simple Lego creation - inspiration for this model was the British Rail Class 08 - a class of diesel-electric shunting locomotive built by British Railways (BR).
Cabin is five studs wide, wheel axles three studs, model has 213 parts and dimensions 16.9 x 6.2 x 7.6 (in studs).
Digital model was designed in the Studio (www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/d...)
Custom part was designed in the Autodesk Tinkercad (www.tinkercad.com/), pattern is available for free - www.tinkercad.com/things/4Mpu... or www.thingiverse.com/thing:514...

The British rail class 08 is one of my 3 favorite European locomotives in all, I simply love shunters/ switchers with the SW1200 being my favorite American switcher I also love diesel rail cars as well.

You can also purchase custom coupling rods from quite some websites- I go for Breckland bricks, I live in Ireland and they are based in the UK

Yes, unfortunately Lego doesn't make the 1X10 tile, but it shouldn't be a problem to replace it with shorter tiles.

And I also use 3D printed parts for this model - it is possible to replace the Technic with a part or download and print (links are in the video description).

Yes, I mix all the brands - Lego, CaDA, Mould King, Happy Build, MoYu. But all is compatible and also quality is very similar.
