Love the video and you keeping the fish in the water you don’t see that often! Great tip that helped me a lot is when landing a tarpon keep there head under water when you grab them the drag from the water makes there head shakes not nearly as brutal
Great video! Question ,when you are chasing tarpon what do you look for in a area? You definitely have them figured out there. What should I look for? Thanks
It's more about bowing than trying to jam the hook in him.. not to mention once hooked you could back up a little on the drag and I guarantee you'll hold onto that fish longer. Goodluck and tight lines
Excellent video, even you didn't know it was going to be this good; but was it the lure, I think not, but perhaps a beefier reel, maybe a 6k to 8k; it was a true giant.
@@10kerick that cool man and the blue rod you was using what about that one cause i have use the NLBN I’m having a hard time using it with my fishing pole
It's painful to watch you lose tarpon after tarpon. When the tarpon jump you must bow to the fish , bring your line down , your way to high n when they jump they will cut you off every time. Great Vid

Appreciate the support! The Tarpon setup I was using is a 8ft Heavy Crowder Rod paired w/ 5500 Spinfisher. 60lb leader and 40lb braid.
