Hey!! We didn’t see many people showing the actual process for the install. So we showed our candid version. Thank you for watching and commenting! Best- Bug and Joe
Where's' the BEEF? The GOAT Has The BEEF! HaHa Those axle are coming together nicely! I feel for yall on welding all the brackets and trusses onto that axle. Having all that steel set at different angles and positions, add heat and something is bound to be off just a little. Unless you have a full axle Jig it's difficult to get it perfect, But yall did great! And it will be perfect for the GOAT! All of yall are kicking butt on this project I can't wait to see these axles under the GOAT! I will say with all the BEFF on that front axle, if the GOAT can't drive over a rock, that AXLE will take out the ROCK!! Great Job Yall!!
Thank you Duddie!! Thank goodness we have Josh! I can’t weld- obviously 😂 Joe can weld, but it would kill his back and hip to weld in that position for hours. So Thank You Josh! 🙌 This has been fun and we’re figuring things out as we go. We’ll probably have to make more changes to the axle when it’s under the Goat. And that’s okay. I know we’ll get it dialed in. So awesome to have you cheering us on! And we can’t wait to show you when it’s all done! Watch out rocks! Here we come!!! One rock chipper at a time 🪨 🐐
Looking good Bug and glad to see Joe. And I don't know if I'm going to the Smoky Mountain Jeep invasion because of financial and I'm hoping next year I can go to a lot of those things
@@GoatOffroad I hear you Bug and Joe and I hope I have my truck running like it supposed to next year and if y'all are out this way you know how to get a hold of me so we can go wheeling together okay
Getting exciting! Getting that D60 put together is a big milestone! That and the frame stiffners. Are you guys going to go with a coil overs, ORI’s or stay with coil springs up front? I bet you can’t wait till the first time you jump up in it and take it for its maiden ride on 38’s and all the other bad ass stuff under that Goat!
Eventually we’ll get to coil overs. But we’re staying with coil springs with JKS hydraulic bump stops. Those look cool! You have no idea how bad we want to get this build done and hit the trails!! 🙌
I didn't run the sway bar mounts on my D60 . Cut them right off. I also think you did the opposite of what I did and I mounted the spring buckets/and cups too far apart. I think you might have gone a tab too far inward. What size tires are you running Bug? One thing you are going to have to test out is will your wheels clear your rock slider? In factory location, my tires hit my sliders at 55 percent of the way through the steering cycle. I had to move the cup back about two inches. To push the axle forward to clear the tires. Some people put the passenger side coil buckets on the driver side and the driver on the passenger side and have the coils sit behind the axle. However, that would kind of force you to run about 2-3" stretch. That's about the limit on the factory location of the steering box. I'll be interested to see how it fits on the goat
This is great! We are so happy to have your feedback. I know Joe will respond more to your comment here. Thanks again for watching and commenting. You’ve been here and you know what we’re going through ❤️🐞
Life happens. Joe's 2 hospital stays really took the winds out of our sails. So we had the Goat taken to a shop for completion. We will do a walk-around soon to bring everyone up to speed!

We’re so excited! Wait until the hydro steering gets added 🐐💪
We think you guys did awesome!! Thanks for sharing the process!

It’s coming right along nice 👍
Thank you!! Slowly but surely
Joe was replying to my comments on the last video in the background! 😆 🤣
He said he was replying to you on Saturday. But how did you know it from the video 😂
@@GoatOffroad me and joe, we are good friends. 😉
@@ProjectXJ 😂😂
Looking good my friends , cant wait to see it setting on the tires again
Thank you!!! That is the moment we’re all waiting for!! 😂
Wow, this is a lot of work! I have never welded but I can see it would be a great skill to have.
It’s an amazing skill. You can do so much with it! You can “make” so much!!!
Goat's gonna be a beast! Can't wait to see it!
Can’t wait to show you!!! 🙌❤️
Is the project still on hold?
thumbs up
Thank you 🤗

Hey Alan! Sorry to hear about that. We canceled our jeep event too. 2023 will be our year!! 🙌

I know that glove shake well, lol. When it gets hot you have to get that glove off fast!
😂😂
Welding all the brackets takes forever….. but cleaning the axle is worse. A plasma cutter is your best friend instead of grinding
We’d love a plasma cutter but it’s not in the budget. Fire wrench instead 🔥🔧

How are you doing new work today
Doing well! No work on the Goat today
If it makes you feel any better, that sway bar being off isnt going to hurt a thing, send it
Nice. We might even just cut them off 👍

Dumb question but are you running the dust shield for the brake on the 60? My JY axles dust shield are all bent up.
Buggy, button up that shirt. You will thank me later. But only for welding ;)
😂👩🏭
Where are you?
