Covering May and June 1981 and April 1983 - this film shows the variety of buses the Ipswich Buses were running at the time, including AEC Regent Vs, Leyland Atlanteans, AEC Swifts and Bristol REs.

I remember Ipswich in July 1981 with the ‘Regents ‘ and the legend ‘Electric House’ . They were still there remarkably in ‘85 , and I had a ride on one. They were semis👍

Aside from the buses themselves, fascinating to see what has changed in the town over the past 35 years or so, especially around the Electric House aka Tower Ramparts area. Glad that Mike took these these shots with a movie camera; could use a Smartphone these days!
