    For the rear ride height, affects camber/toe & as you adjust camber it adjusts toe, vise versa, usually there isn’t enough toe adjustment when lowered significantly in rear! Up front something isn’t right, there is plenty of camber adjustment but -1.5 to -2.5 is good with a little toe in, 1/8”-1/16”

    when you lower the car we should always replace the adjustable toe control arm otherwise your alignment will never be right😊

    🤣 I like that End in the middle of video. Suspension is pretty evolved. You will get through it big dawg. Some cars are more difficult than others, but we are all learning big time. I definitely appreciate your videos my man.

    I feel you man. I just got an alignment from a local shop and it was so bad that they didn't even want to print me the final numbers. Smh

      Horrible! Hopefully you got it all sorted out. It’s a unnecessary painful process.

    I’d definitely take it to a different shop. The camber on the fronts should be the same as well. I put rce yellows on stock struts and stock toe arms with spl rear LCA’s and my car was perfect with 0 toe all around and 1 degree camber in front and 1.3 degree camber in the back.

      Those are the numbers I’m seeking. Will definitely take it to a different shop!

      And I don’t know what world you live in but camber at two or 3° negative will definitely wear the inside shoulder of the tire. You don’t need to be spreading false information guy this kid doesn’t know anything I’ve been doing Alignment for 25 years and camber will definitely wear tires out of two or 3° negative stance.

      @@dansager2945 Did you even read my comment? I had -1 degree in the front and -1.3 degrees in the back. That absolutely would not wear the inside of the tires significantly as you suggest.

      @@dansager2945 just saw this. Yeah, you are correct. I should have said excessive camber*. Thanks for pointing that out.

    THis is weird. Im running coilovers and my rear camber is just within spec. The rear lower control arms should get you to manufacturer spec. Anything bent in the right rear of the vehicle?? Good luck to you.

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s what I assumed too! Nope, nothing is bent back there so I’ll have to keep digging into this issue.

    Dude I am having the same issues. I have ISC camber arms, end links and sway bar and this crap is driving me nuts. Subie drives like crap so I fully understand what you mean and really it’s coming down to a point where I want to just sell the camber arms and just get the simple while line stuff

      For sure, it’s definitely frustrating but once it’s all dialed in then it’ll all be worth it!

    Are there racing or performance shops near by that specialize in race car setups?

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, there are a couple in Portland within a few miles. I go to PRE Racing in NE Portland near the airport. They’re purely a Subaru performance shop that do alignments.

    I have a 16 sti, i installed the rce yellow springs about a week ago and the camber is a little aggressive on the back but nothing too crazy. I still have to get an alignment, I’m just being lazy because I’m a mechanic and i can just bring it into my shop and do it but I honestly dont have any issues. Hopefully you can find what the issue is.

      Oh man, what I would do to have easy access to an alignment rack haha. Curious what your numbers are once you align your car!

    Has that car been hit in the back?
