Cant believe I didnt know these were a thing till about a month ago. Trying to decide do i need them. I do 3d printing so i do a good amount of prep to paint work.
@Unlucky1776 I agreed and that is why i made this video. Some people want to buy files, but with no real feedback, they are hesitant and end up following the hype. There are other options out there. Those STEDI files are great.
Glass files won't stain or scratch the parts. When using sanding paper, you have to go through many steps to recover the plastic where the nub is IF you are straight building. When using a glass file you skip the steps by just using the file and a recovery tool or nail buffer. If you are painting, ngl it really doesn't matter which process you use. Lol, it's all preference at that point.
Great video!
Thanks!
HEY!! I was hoping for this video to come at some point!

Informative post for glass files.
Thank you for your comment. I had an influx of people asking me about files, so I'd figure that a video would be better overall for everyone to see.
Thank you for this video. I am looking into buying my first glass file and this helps
I'm glad i could help. Please share which file you decided to go with.
@@animousworks just gotta wait for the next paycheck lol
I was looking into getting a gunprimer one. I am happy to see that some other brands work just as well.

Honestly paying more than 10 dollars for a singular file is kinda insane to me
