I was shocked when I heard that Yedam left Treasure, I mean he trained the most and he worked so hard for it... Thinking about it, I get it in a way because honestly, I never felt that he fitted in a group, at least not in a big group like Treasure. I was a little sad for him because even if he left the group, he could have still stayed in YG, at least making a few songs before picking another path. The industry it's just really big these days and even if you are talented like Yedam and you have a good song, it's hard to catch attention without some help. He has a beautiful voice and no, I personally never thought at him as Justin's comparison, Yedam is using the same singing technique and it fits him but he doesn't sound exactly like Justin, I never felt that. Also, if you sing a song of Justin, it doesn't mean that you sound like him, he has simple songs but that it's the point, it's hard to shine with those songs if you don't have an unique voice, that's why so many people love him. That's why I like Yedam's covers too. Wish him the best and I'm waiting for his solo songs.

Yedam is a league of his own, it was a shock when he opted to focus on being Producer And leave YG Because basically he is a YG BABY and the most anticipated artist. If one day He will decide to sing again I hope he will choose an agency who will really give him what his heart desire.

This young man's voice is indeed God-given, honed to perfection by time, patience and hard work. He's constantly improving, striving to be better in his craft and he never fails to surprise me each time he opens his mouth to sing. It's just like his latest performance is always better than the previous one.
Him leaving TREASURE pains me a lot. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, slowly accepting it but I am honestly still not there yet. He is a league of his own but he surprisingly clicks so well with his 11 brothers without overshadowing anyone nor withholding his own strengths 'coz his brothers surely can keep up with him.
I am not in any way worried about him in whichever path he chooses to take because he is incredibly talented, hardworking and packed with skills that can surely make him thrive both in the entertainment industry and academics. I also am not worried about TREASURE because they are all also fully equipped with talent and unique in their own ways. I am just disheartened by the fact that they spent so little time together as artists when it's as Charles said, it's like they already have Yedam as a centerpiece and the other gems were built around him. With his departure , even though the masterpiece didn't collapse but it is now missing its centerpiece.
But rest assured, I will continuously support all 12 of them together, or apart 💙

We all know YGTB was made for yedam to find his members, i still wonder and totally understand if he wanted to be a soloist rather than in a group but leaving YG that i don't understand whatever happened between yedam, YG and treasure , I'm sure so many agencies out there want yedam to sign with them, he's too talented to be wasted
