One thing I forgot to mention is if you’re model swapping your CAC, unequip ALL clothing and accessories on Cac because you will experience bugs. UPDATE: I was testing around and found out whenever you switch your skills (in the lobby )will cause the character's head to disappear. I didn't try with save editor but that's a idea. Anyways, IF the head disappears, go to DATA folder >Dragonball folder, simply move whatever CAC folder your using somewhere else , start up game, select the CAC your using , go to equip clothes and equip any top costume, head should appear, unequip top costume, close game, move whatever CAC folder your using back to DATA folder, start up game, select character and head should appear in lobby. UPDATE: Use the save editor to change your CAC skills and etc without head disappearing.
So I attempted this method but instead I reversed it. It worked but with minor issues still. To test it, I followed the following steps: 1. I was going to replace Goku, who doesn't have a native folder in the data chara folder. So I had to extract his folder out using the CPK extractor. 2. I made a backup of both my Cac2x2m character folder and Goku's. Then that will leave me with having the folder to both characters data. That being Goku's (GOK) and my CaC2x2M (GMT). 3. Next I used a bulk rename tool to go into GMT and rename all parts with GMT to GOK. Then copying those and pasting them into a empty GOK folder. Then placing that GOK folder into the data/chara section in the XV2 directory. 4. I used the CMS editor to go to GOK. This is where I had to experiment. I originally copied the values of 14 from my installed GMT character. Pasted them into the character I was changing, 14 box, and then changed manually the GMT to GOK myself. 5. After saving in the CMS editor, I launched the game and went to the character select screen. This is where I discovered a problem, Goku was replaced fully when it comest to models, moveset, and clothing, but the colors of the character weren't the original colors. It was actually taking the colors from the CaC I was playing to check the results. Then there is the body type and height. GMT is a slim character but he was showing with what looks to be Goku's proportions. 6. I am now going back to the CMS editor and leaving the 14 box blank to see what that'll do. (Added notes) So keeping 14 blank did nothing. That and when in cutscenes, the character's skin and hair appears washed out, and clothes are completely grey.
Nice try with experimenting but I don’t add anything to the code “14?”. One thing I forgot to mention is if you’re model swapping your CAC, unequip ALL clothing and accessories on Cac because you will experience bugs. Also are you trying to replace Goku with your CAC?
@@bluejago Yes I am trying to replace Goku. It works to a degree, and I can upload video proof of it working. Though the issues are gonna be prevalent in that video. I am gonna mess with it later tonight until I can get a grasp on it an have a character that isn't completely altered for some reason.
Fused half corrupted Zamasu (ZMD) doesnt seem to work at all. Any other model, yes . but not this one. It will always show up with missing the head and middle part of the body.
UPDATE: I tried it and it worked. My method works for all characters. I can show you screenshots of (ZMD)Fused half corrupted Zamasu as my CAC. You're doing something wrong so i suggest watching my video from the beginning to end. if you need help join my discord.
Hey bro, I managed to successfully swapped the character, but it seems to make some of the npcs invisible and it has a infinite loading screen whenever I go to the time patrol. Any help would be ok
that’s a great question. So there’s no specific folder for each character you create , only by gender and race. that means if you have multiple cac of the same race and gender you’ll be editing all characters of the same race and gender.
@@bluejago Okay that makes sense. Could I make a female majin into... lets say Nappa and it would work accordingly or do the races and gender have to be the same?

What code is “GMT” ???
Which cac race
@@bluejago Code GMT is the code I gave my character when porting him to a x2m using the cac2x2m tool.

I did it and my CaC doesnt have a head and the game crashes whenever I try to load with that character

Thanks for letting me know. Zamasu should be able to work and show the model. I’ll give that a try

yes nappa will work , any character any race and gender. one advice is making cac into x2m then editing x2m
@@bluejago How do I export a CaC into a x2m? Export character from save editor?
I need to make a simple video on how to but for now look up how to export cac into x2m
Is this still possible?
Yes
