The book " Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee" is a great book for the history of the wars..though it focuses mainly on the western wars.. It's very in-depth.

I have a friend who is American indian .. Apache and Lakota if I remember correctly..who says that he doesn't think there should be a day or a month for American Indians because it's falling into the patterns of the system that has a day for other ethnicities.. he says for him that every day is American Indian day in a sense..same for other ethnicities

Land acknowledgements! Oooh this is a great start to the podcast. ..
As with any father, acknowledgement and recognition is the primary base of trust. Acknowledgements of the native within is a hard pragmatic utilitarianism and cultural merit, bsed in Traditional food security for the kid's. Which is more important than a title.
Probably the best way to milk the manna and balance the socio politically opposites of land title creations.
Indigenous kids need access to, tracking, the living data and biology of the traditional food securities, interpretation of it, protection and increase of it. Data: Government cant be trusted to interpet it, let alone keep a treaty, or even make a treaty in the Australian case.
The land titles mess of abandonemnt and the Evolution of connection is always in the hands of indigenous imaginations. Childhood imaginations!❤
Indigenous animal tracking child based edtech applications get me away from the money and craziness anyway.. Thanks Storyteller. ❤ and respect for you.
