A center console fridge for Ford trucks! - (code LLOD for free shipping) - www.dometic.com/en-us/professional/truck-solutions/truck-refrigerators/dometic-ccf-t-256718
Did you have any issues with the adaptive cruise control or front camera with that Matrix front bumper? That thing is beautiful, and I want one, but I'm concerned!
100% AGREE about buttons and dials. It’s a bummer that more companies are going to touch screen for everything. I think it looks worse and it’s less safe. Love the content as always!
I have the 350 Tremor!! Absolutely love the truck! I went with the center counsel safe instead of the fridge and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. It’s like the black box that cannot be destroyed!! Love the mods you’ve done to this truck. Wish I had those funds to throw at mine.
Im torn between an F250 and the new 2022 Tundra. Power up hill when fully loaded with friends, family and their gear is priceless. As much as I love tacomas (I used to be a toyota welder back in the day so Im biased) Ive always been disappointed in the power when playing in the mountains fully loaded. I guess I can buy the new tundra and if I dont like it I can always trade it in lol. Btw...It was cool meeting you finally at Overland Expo Mountain West.
No comparison. No tow hooks, a v6 twinturbo, no imterior storage… I’m a current ‘07 Tundra owner and was crushed after waiting patiently to see what they unveiled for ‘22. It’s become a urban show toy.
Love my 2021 F350 Tremor. I have the Platinum trim and 6.7L Powerstroke. Gobs of power and payload x 2! My Diamondback cover arrives Wednesday. Front Runner load bar set up installs next Saturday.
Thanks for all the content you put out Mike. I support your values so I watch to see what Mike is up to. As a wannabe overlander, the Yota and Ford stuff is a plus.
7:00 The massage seats are NOICE! The heated steering wheel is pretty nice too. I have the A/C seats in my Taurus too and I don't think I can live without them anymore.
Sir, you have convinced me of buying a f250 after I'm back from deployment. Tbh I like Tacoma and 4Runner but due to my job and convenience I think a f150 or f250 will benefit way more. You should buy one for yourself, you look like you finally found true love in the f250 🤣
I have a 7.3L (gas) F250 Lariat -- only regret is I should've bought the tremor package. Pulled my 9k lb camper on a month-long, 5500 mile trip this summer. Never even close to having an issue maintaining the speed limit going over passes in Colorado.
Although it's about the F250 a ton of this vid applies to why I love my raptor. Power, 10 speed, comfort, storage, huge back seats, the taint coolers in the seats and nice warm steering wheel when it's snowy/cold out! You know MPG is gonna be in the 'hate' video, haha!
I'm deciding between a F250 Tremor or a Gen 3 Raptor. I have a double axle trailer, a side-by-side, and want to get a overland camping setup on the rig. Stick with the Raptor? Go with the Tremor? I can add some deavers on the Raptor and be fine. Just wondering if the Tremor is the better set up.
@@Texas13Hookem Raptor can tow 6k no problem, you just need a good WDH like the weighsafe. *BUT* if you're gonna do overlanding that means gear, and the Raptor payload and short bed might be an issue. If you're towing a side by side that's gonna be your trail machine so I'd probably go with the tremor. It'll get you to your basecamp and then take out the SxS from there.
“Let me list 7 things I love about this truck” *done in first 7 minutes* 20 minutes later - “ok I know I did like 40 things but now it’s time for the bonus stuff” Love it! Looks like you need to get one built after the giveaway 😂😂 Great video Mike!
I love my v10 Excursion. It's a super duty underneath. I love it. The Godzilla replaced the v10 with the 7.3 Godzilla. They put it in RVs and etc. That thing is insane. I will Godzilla swap my Excursion after I swap my mustangs. I love all the features even on a 2000 limited excursion. It's nice. And gobs of power with 430s factory.
Your next vehicle is a...Suburu Outback! Lol. So much stuff I fixed on my Ranger using Forscan. Way too cool of a program to not mess with it some. Startup chimes deleted, double honk gone when you exit the vehicle with the truck running, fog lights on on high beam, seatbelt reminder chimes deleted...the list Goes on.
Mike, you should come to Expo East in October! I actually went from a 5th gen 4runner to an F-350 that I needed more (life changes), but I camp out of it and use it to haul all of my gear on camping/fishing trips! It would be so awesome to meet you and see some of these trucks in person!
Been on the fence about getting one of these. I used to have a Raptor and miss that truck. Currently driving a Tundra. Love the size and power of this thing! I'm going to order one tomorrow!
Your vid is awesome , just ordered my 2023 F250 Lariat w Tremor pkg, can’t wait to modify with Carli suspension to put 39” tires- also comes with Godzilla engine
I agree with you on the cooled seats. My friend’s car had them and I really miss them. My back is super sweaty most days driving around Honolulu on black leather.
The rambling was definitely the best part haha…I hope you buy whatever the mystery vehicle is so we can see it! Can’t wait to see the next vid with Toyota too, the last one was awesome.
I got a 2019 F150 2WD (wish it was 4WD but needed new vehicle and budget was tight and didnt need 4WD). but, got my dream job in Cybersecurity field and now i can go all out. im torn between a new Raptor and a F250 Tremor. i know, 2 completely different trucks, but gotta say, im leaning towards the 250 Tremor.
I have a 2022 Nissan Frontier on the way, and it too has a heated steering wheel. At first I thought it was a tad silly, but it’s cool to hear how beneficial it is because I’m also in Colorado.
I usually buy Toyota, Nissan and Ford. Recently bought a 2014 honda odyssey for road trips. I sold my 2004 Titan and bought a 2016 F150 v8 lariat sport 4x4. In 15 months and 20,000 miles i had camshaft solenoid failure and then water pump busted. I sold it and went back to a 2010 Titan. I liked the Ford, good looking inside and out but i don’t tolerate car problems. My 2004 Titan had no problems in 8 years i owned it. My 2012 4runner only had a rusted brakes issue (was northern owned until i bought it) in 3 years 80,000 miles i had it. Cost too much to be having problems.
Forscan is great. I turned ever beep and ding off on my F150. Also Bambi mode is awesome, the Cadillac mirror mode is nice (when you lock the doors the mirrors fold in automatically). I'm sure there is more I used it for but i can't remember.
Can you fit a AR pistol in the center console without the fridge? The fridge is a nice touch but you lose easily accessible gun storage. Rather have a full-size domestic on one side of the back seat. Cool vid.
Your gun should be easily accessed in your aiwb holster - llod.us/holsters - which is a better option in every way, haha. Potentially an impractically short-barreled, folding one would fit in the center console. Probably best suited for a dedicated pistol-caliber small platform, vs an AR pistol in there - if you felt inclined to have something in your center console. Though you'd be much better served by having something with more punch under the backseat (which you can access from the front with a little flexibility).
Great video. I’m a Toyota fan too. Got an FJ40 Land Cruiser for off-roading and an Avalon for my daily commute. I really want to like the new 2022 Tundra for a tow vehicle but the payload rating is a joke. A new Tundra crew cab limited is going to have less payload than a Honda Ridgeline. It’s a grocery getter and not a real truck. I love the Super Duty Tremor 7.3 and I’m leaning hard towards buying one. That way I’m not always bumping up against capability limitations of my truck.
Toyota should add their “cool box” option to the tacoma and 4 runner like the prado has. It’s not really a fridge it just blows an ac vent into the center console. It does help keep drinks cold longer. Won’t do much if they aren’t already chilled.
Great video once again. Im pretty newvto your channel, but im really enjoying the content. Thanks for all you do. Now as to this video, im loving that truck, and i guess maybe thats why my phone suggested your video, lol. Ive been looking at truck and the f250 tremor is at the top of the list. This is a year later, but I ran across a really nice 22 and it had all the options i want, very similar to yours. I think im going to jump on it before someone beats me to it. Thanks for this video and all your content. Keep it coming
Do you highlight the roof rack that goes over the cab? I haven’t seen that yet and want to put one on my F250. I already have a rack on my capper but want one over the cab for longer kayaks and paddle boards.
Probably only fair to do a "things I hate" video, too. The first video of yours I saw was the good/bad of rooftop tents and it only made me want one more even with the drawbacks.
I hope this message gets to you. I am planning on getting a truck just like this, 2022 F250 Tremor. Any issues with “death wobble”? Reading a bunch of forums about it. Let me know if you have experienced anything
@@LastLineOfDefense thank you so much for the reply. One more question, if the wind fairing deflector isn’t installed on the front runner roof rack, is there a high chance that it will cause not just wind noise, but also vibration/resonance on the bars which?
@lastlineofdefense - Did you have any issues with the adaptive cruise control or front camera with that Matrix front bumper? That thing is beautiful, and I want one, but I'm concerned!
I would like to see a 'seven things you hate about' video, would you be willing to explain why you went with the gas over the diesel when choosing this truck build? And why you didn't opt for the 8 ft bed?

@@TheOverlandGolfer you’re right. You’re just some random dude on the internet.

Not just buttons but screen gauge clusters these days, too! I know I'm becoming a "Boomer" but I'd rather have analog speedometer.

GM and Ford designed the 10 speed transmission together and they both use it in multiple vehicles.
The Dometic center console fridge also fits in 4th Gen expeditions!
Nice video Mike. Love all are your information. Keep Rambling bro 👊
Looks sharp.
I'm most def getting a Ford F350, with the commercial boxes on the back and then I'm gonna mod that for overlanding.

You can also add some platinum model features to your lariat with forescan. Still trying to figure out if you can add tremor options to a non tremor.
Like a rear locker and limited slip in the front?
Great truck info, now I need an F250.
My favorite thing about the tremor is it makes my little NUTS QUAKE!!!! BREUUUTHHERR!!!
