@@tmm4195 Thinking about it I'm seeing him through Katurahs pov. She was one of the people I wanted to win so I thought he was just about the worst. His lack of self awareness is bad in a funny way, where someone like Coach it's like he exists in a different reality.
Love Jeff just casually gaslighting applicants to not pay for Adam's coaching.
Especially when consultants, analysts, agents and coaches are all major players in the media industry for good reason. They're definitely encouraged for actors and content creators, so why not reality shows.
I mean, a single service worked for a fifth of the cast. And many of the others probably use similar services.
Never liked Dee tbh, and all of this unfortunately makes Austin's game that much more disappointing. Dude literally gave it away. Tale as old as time. Also the transition between "Wendall cheated on his gf/ bm with Dee-- DID you know that Patreon is now free to sign up for?" hilarious

A couple more things:
When Dee remarked that Bruce should’ve played his idol at FTC and he looked offended, Bruce himself said he actually almost fell out of his chair from laughter(it wasn’t shown)
Austin said playing as an alternate affected his mindset going in since he didn’t have as much time to prepare, had he knew he was playing from the beginning he would’ve played a little more cutthroat
About Austin telling Dee about the plan to blindside Julie, someone else already spilled the beans prior to him telling her so yeah, they already knew
Also regarding Dee and Austin, they probably did date over the summer but decided the long distance wasn’t worth it, I say this because Austin has a TH-cam channel(for those who don’t know) and he posted one video of him, Dee, Drew and a few others at In n Out on their first day back From Fiji and a short of him eating an (I think) almond candy bar with Dee, I’m probably reading too much into it but….idk you tell me

I felt so bad for Katurah after her mom's letter. You could see she was not okay. It felt like someone on the show green-lit her being sabotaged. I hope Survivor screens for that in future seasons. "Who would you absolutely not want to hear from during your already TRYING time in this game?"
"I dont think we would put Russel on the show today" even though I (and I think a lot of fans) would love to see some actual villains. I actually think that someone like Russell would get eliminated really early in a modern season. People have gotten a lot smarter about the game and are more aware of manipulation with others, but I would LOVE to see some villains in the game.

That Dee and Wendell thing is so disgusting and pathetic. Doesn’t surprise me though. Dee always gave off a shady vibe and it seems Wendell has a habit of cheating based on what we hear Michele say in WaW. She didn’t directly say he cheated but I feel like it was implied. I think Michele was just being respectfully vague about what he did to not expose him on tv

f you read Wendells message, he says he lied to both parties so Dee likely didn't know about his family or if she did, he told her they weren't together or some lie like that.
@@kairenatus That was just a lie he said to make Dee not get as much heat. It was shown that Dee has liked pictures of him and his gf with their baby on instagram. It’s just another lie Wendell ended up getting caught in. Dee knew about his family and still went along with it

24:45 Brando hypothesized that it might’ve been a tribe switcher where he could trade two people across tribes but he had to do it on the mat; since he didn’t, they took it so he didn’t think he could do it then AND probably so they could make it return in a later season.
it contributed to his elimination too cause aint no way emily's gonna pick him over austin and drew who has so many game advantages. Not to mention Kendra already made a connection w lulu before so shes a better asset. Brando got dealt w the shittiest consequence after the tribe swap.
They should have a season in-between a season and show clips we haven't seen. Only needs to be 30-45 min long.

6:50 thank you for mentioning that ad! It was driving me crazy. I watch survivor on CBS's website because I don't have cable so I got that ad ALL THE TIME and it pissed me off. Like, I thought we got rid of "guys" for a reason? And someone went through so much effort to edit it back in for what, nostalgia or something? So weird.
Hannah quitting was her best move, imagine a person under nicotine withdrawl... (pretty sure we saw nicotine withdrawn people on the post-swap Casaya tribe in Survivor: Exile Island)

Also Jeff: “no one without a sob story, only 1 person over 40, no one with any controversial opinions, etc”

@bjroo I agree. Which is why I want them both back for a return season on the same starting tribe. Survival Rivals could be fun. Find pairs of people who didn't like each other much and put them on tribes together. That'd be fun. Enemies have to work together? But then try and find people they were friends with their first season and put them on the other side.

She talked about Bruce's actions toward her being more extreme & rooted in something deeper than what was shown in the show. It sounded like he was the one who disliked her more & was constantly making rude, condescending comments :/
There is a new theory not a lot has picked up on. Ever since survicor 43 the last shot has the winner in it. 43 was Gabler in the mud. 44 ended with Yam Yam and for 45 if you go back and look it is Dee faintly in a challenge.

I wonder if they’ll ever go back to a final 2. Final 3 has rarely (if ever?) resulted in the 3rd person getting more than 2 votes. I get it adds intrigue to get to that point but once the final 3 is set it always becomes a battle between 2, never all 3 that remain.
but if it's final 2 it's usually rarely the #2 getting more than 2 votes. 3-people format tends to force more of a close ending, except that lately people throw votes on the same person just so #2 doesn't end up winning by mistake

Feels like the showrunners had an idea for an edit that didn't pan out. They knew the episodes would be longer, so I feel they had this idea with the extra time. Then it just didn't fit in when edited.
At least that's my best guess cause I've never seen a scene like this in any other season.
Something about Brandon naming Jakob Derwin a notorious super fan flame out who went out second, to end up being the modern equivalent of Jakob. Is really funny to me.

I faked being a professional cameraman in my resume to a local production & i actually got to shoot clips for a show called 'The Handmaid's Tale'. They didn't find out until later when i didn't produce a SAG card & i asked a million questions like "where is the record button? & Do i have to zoom? & What does this storyboard have to do with me?". Go to school and become a Camera man is the moral of the story! U get paid for sitting around all day & the AD sets up all ur shots unless ur known for ur dumb track shots or Dutch angles etc., Survivor Cameramen are glorified dad's recording Tropical Fat Camp videos!
Omg! Boom operators (sound engineers) are even worse! They take no blame for loss of audio & they constantly ruin the shot by lazily dropping the boom mic into frame, which causes an unnecessary HD unwarranted & unflattering Zoom shot! They're the kids that ride the short bus & got a luck break due to nepotism!
Survivor has to do something drastic to make the show relevant again. They should cast Survivor favorites & winners vs. the offspring of Serial Killers vs. "alleged killers"...( Pretty sure that Bryan Kohberger guy from Idaho hasn't been sentenced yet!) 😉 Johnny Fairplay, Sandra, Rob, Rupert & Hatch would totally be down for it! They could call it: BELOVEDS, BLOODLINES & BLUDGEONERS!... Somebody contact Jeff!

Austin shouldn't feel hurt or stupid over losing Dee, and I doubt that he does. He's young, well educated, and from videos he's posted he's living his best life not focuse on her. He lost the season but walked away dodging a bullet and still getting good compensation from the show.

Just to be clear, not sure how much Dee could be blamed for the cheating. Wendell's post said that he lied to her about his family life (he could've told her he and baby mama weren't a thing), and I feel like that should've been mentioned in the video even if it was at least shown. Still shady if Dee was kind of seeing Austin, but as she said, they were taking it slow. Maybe seeing other people wasn't out of the question for them?
Several commenters have stated that Dee was liking photos of Wendell and his girlfiend/family prior to or during the affair. Meaning her and Wendell may have just lied to take some of the heat off of her. That could be why the video doesn't give Dee credit for supposedly not knowing.
