Love it. We stayed at Callie’s in August and rode DBBB. Both of us had new Gladiators and opted not to try rock garden. We had fun but needed more height and lift. Thanks for the videos.
I absolutely love water crossings, but that one had me nervous! If I get my vacation reinstated, my dad and I might need to find that for the Jeep Liberty. Awesome video!
Great video. I ran some of the DBBB over Thanksgiving. Best trails I've seen yet. Beautiful country and awesome wheeling. Hoping to head back up that way when the snow falls. Keep us updated if y'all are going to do any type of snow wheeling. Happy Holidays
Wow!You guys are so cool going around various cars and various courses. I have a Gladiator, so I travel with my friends like you, but everyone brought Gladiator and couldn't do it with other vehicles. And I didn't even think about passing over such big rocks because I was scared, but I should have taken courage after watching your video. I'm going to show my friends your video and give them courage.~I'm looking forward to it~~I'll watch your video and refer to it when I make the video. Thank you! I enjoyed it. I'll look forward to the next video.~~~
Awesome video as usual, keep up the good work. We were down there two weeks before you for Halloween week. Ran the trails for 6 days and saw less than 10 other vehicles the whole week. Beautiful colors and a fun time. Ran Fincastle, but avoided the creek crossing as it looked even deeper after rain from that week. So much to do down there.
That looked like a lot of fun! I can't wait to pick up a Cherokee Trailhawk, lift it and hook up with you folks! I'm currently in Arizona but we'll be moving to the Knoxville area in a few years.
Are you using 4 wheel drive low most of the time when off the blacktop or are you using it only when rock crawling or slick terrain, etc? I don’t recall hearing you mention 4hi or 4low in your videos. I assume your shifting into 4low only when necessary. Love watching your adventures.
If we are off road and are less than 15mph or so we are in 4 low. We do this to reduce heat and stress on the torque converter and transmission. It's just generally easy on the whole drive train. Thanks for watching!
Great video, what day were you guys down there? I was down there on Black Friday (26th Nov). We went to the Walker Creek trail and then we did the deep water crossing, and then we headed to spaaz creek. thank you for sharing
We are headed down there this coming weekend and I am still picking out which trails to hit. Was that water crossing part of hell creek road or old fincastle? Great video as always!
you think a stock hummer h3 can do this trail with 33's? I live in sandgap kentucky close to mckee would like to check some of the milder trails out, really enjoy your videos thanks a bunch for sharing
@@CoddiwompleOverland ok i was told the older ones didnt most farm boys out hrer run around dsoorless or just with canvas ones on but they r playing in the mud too

This was the worst advertised ride ever. I saw nothing about it on the Facebook groups. Noting on Central KY jeep, KAT , KY overland. I'm in Lexington saw nothing. From the looks of it some people knew 😂.
It was only advertised on their FB page and ours. It was advertised light so that they weren't overwhelmed on their first event. I hope you understand. I'm sure the next event will be advertised heavier
Beautiful shot at 5:35. That creek crossing was the perfect illustration of what too much speed does!
You're exactly right.
That’s so awesome you all had the patience and willingness to get the newbies broken in. Thank you so much… from a newbie.
We always welcome a newbie.

Thanks for watching. Callies is great
That water crossing was pretty awesome ! Great fun. Thanks
It was a lot of fun
Trick is to ride the bank and cut 90 degrees at the turn in.
Thanks
@@CoddiwompleOverland locals tell us all the tricks!
Like the water crossing at the first, looks like an awesome trail. Great video as usual!
The water crossing was cool. Thanks for the compliment
Just found your channel. Wish I would have me you while living in EKY. Down in SC now. Can't wait to visit KY again and run the DBBB.
Whenever you're up this way let us know.
Such an awesome area to wheel. I can't wait to get out that way next summer to go on vacation.
Half the Jeep’s looked like they had stock tires and lift but what a great chance to learn your Jeeps
Thanks for watching
Great video! Wish all the vehicles would have made the cut on the rock garden section.
Thanks for watching. We will be going back.
Wow, that’ll make you buy a snorkel…
Great vid of a great weekend of trail riding!
Indeed, thanks for watching
Looked like a fun day on the trails!
It was for sure!
I’ve crossed that once before almost that deep. No idea how no one flooded their engine on that crossing!
Looks like you all had a lot of fun wheeling! Thanks for the video!
We had a blast! Thank you for watching
The privilege would actually to hang out with you guys.👍
Well thank you!

Another great video. Love seeing all the trails through your eyes.
Thank you! So glad ypu enjoyed it

Wish you all could have been there!
@@CoddiwompleOverland us too ! The leaves turning really makes it pretty down there and adds to the already beautiful trails !
Love the vids as always. I would have freaked out in the deep water crossing.
It was deep for sure
Wanted to go but it just didn't happen. Maybe I'll see you on the KAT.
We will be back out on the KAT middle part of December.
@@CoddiwompleOverland middle of January for me. Looking to run from warncliff, WV to Elkhorn city, Kentucky

My trailhawk did great on the dbbb. The TH is an overachiever. You will have a blast once you get that KL on the byway!
I've got to make it out to the DBBB!
Yes you do
I'd like to join y'all next time you hit the DBBB. I've been wanting to go out there, but can't seem to get any of my TN Jeepers interested.
You are welcome anytime
@@CoddiwompleOverland I would like that. Please let me know next time you plan a trip there. Thanks!!
Definitely will. Also keep checking ridethedbbb.org for their fall event dates. It's great ride.

Great video! However, I don't think I would have driven my wrangler through that creek?

Ot was Old Fincastle. It's noted on the map.

You could do some of the easier sections. But I would stay away from Mt. Springs and Old Fincastle.
@@CoddiwompleOverland thanks for the feedback
You have an awesome set up on your jeep, love to have one just like it lol. thanks again for the videos!
Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for watching.
How can we be notified of these group rides?

Were some of those Jeeps stock height? They all performed very well.
Yes several were stock. Some were so new that they still had temporary tags!
Very impressed. We did the easier ride with a mostly stock jeep on 33s. Had a blast.
I cringed as soon as I saw the Gladiator with steps pull up to the rocks.
Right...
When is the next event? For this
May, keep checking the ridethedbbb.org for updates on event dates and registration.
all those jeeps now will need a new alternator and starter as these do not do well under water. How do I know? ask me
Sounds like a story!
I was the pink stock Willys & I am having no starter or alternator troubles now 15 days later ✌😎
guys, were a couple of those jeeps stock that went through that water crossing??
Yes, a couple of them were so new that they still had temporary tags!
Brave folks... But since you two were there, they had great leaders
Thanks Walt!
how did u keep the river water out og the insides of the jeeps ? do the doors seal that well?
Yes they do seal that well
