    Hello. I am a Japanese writer. However, I cannot live by the work of a writer alone. That's why I've been working part-time as a cleaner for many years. I've cleaned a lot of different toilets so far. Sometimes I have to clean the dirty toilets quickly by myself in a limited amount of time. In the future, your "toilet brushes" will support my heart in such a situation. Thank you.👍

      No. No he won’t. Nils music is great, but let’s not get carried away. Don’t get me wrong, I guarantee you I’m enjoying this at least as much as you are. I’ve been a fan of Nils for a while now and I’m on about playback #11 in a row on this video, but I’m afraid Mr. Frahm’s music only rises to the level of excellent current film score music. Very much in the vein of say Hans Zimmer, who I love also. I think HZ has a much greater time resistant body of work than NF, but in 100 years next no one will know who Hans Zimmer is, much less Nils.
      The works and accomplishments of time tested masters such as Bach, Beethoven and Mozart are truly beyond belief and will live on for more hundreds of years.

    I was at this concert! At the beginning, we didn't know he was even in the room. It was a surprise when he started playing the organ upstairs. He played on it for a few minutes, then made the last note sustain, ran downstairs to where he is in the video and carried on playing from the same note. Seeing this guy live is like being on a date. I only realise how great his performance and little touches are when I see these videos, though. SEE HIM LIVE.

      +Tommy Lloyd can you explain in more detail?

    • @ronrooster7037
      @ronrooster7037 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The delay effect basically makes one note repeat or echo itself at a softer volume a few times after it was played on the keyboard. An effect pedal or effects processor can achieve this and can be adjusted to fit different timing in a song. So, each note he is playing is being repeated at intervals that coincide with what is being played a few measures ahead. May not be the best explanation, but having used the effect on a lot of things, that's my best explanation. This song is almost more percussion than anything, considering how much the timing plays a role.

    As a musician you hear lots of different styles of music, so many beats, riffs and patterns going through your head every day, there are only a small hand full of songs especially in a world dominated by monotonous pop songs that give you that feeling of the hair standing on end when that certain chorus kicks in or when the melody suddenly gets deeper, this is most definitely one of those songs.

    Who else is still watching this in 2019? I always play this song whilst I'm on a run since the BPM matches my pace, whenever I want to give in and stop running I think of how Nils' arms must be feeling as he's coming into the final crescendo, and don't let myself quit. This song has therefore literally been the reason I've put on a fair bit of muscle mass over the last year!!
