So I implemented your instructions on an overturned column at a D&D Mini Base .. when I showed the finished model to my brother, he made big eyes and said "Crazy looks like real jade" I said: "Yes aaa Jade exactly".
So thank you very much for your Jade tutorial ^^

Exactly my thought. This is godsent after the airbrush stuff. I don't have the space or venting to use an airbrush so this is exactly what I needed! I have two other ways of doing marble I'll have to try along with this, but this seems by far to be the most elegant and consistent way of doing it.

Nice method. One tip is that marble isn't an isotropic material, its grain isn't equal in all directions, it has an orientation, so to speak. So, ideally, keep that in mind when laying down the splotches in a pattern that give it some directionality.

Hopefully this video just like many others can come in handy. I did try looking for small feathers but didnt really have the time to do so. Ive seen some incredible canvas work people do with that feather technique. But i agree with you it does make it more organic. The wash does help a lot. Also adding a layer of uv resin in between each layer and then a wash also works even better just takes longer. Thank you for the suggestions. Im sure others will read the comments and go get some feathers 😁
