I love this Tammy!!! I started a YT channel late last year called Kim Gets Fit at 60 - lol. I have only published 1 video though - but I am still walking and feeling better. Love that you are focused on your health and well being! ❤
I think discussion videos are great. (I know everyone calls them vlogs) But it's like a conversation. Also I think it inspires the listeners with ideas for their own life and situations. It causes one to feel a connection of camaraderie... You sound like you are doing well and I know you and the rest of us can achieve our goals thought the year.🌹
I like a good vlog once in a while so I can multitask while listening, so please go for it, when you’re feeling it! Good luck with your continued health goals. Sounds like you’re doing great! 😊❤
I hear ya about getting "old". I'm not old, but I do feel old. Personally, still struggling mentally over here and dealing with my earache that has been going on since November. Trying to stay positive is hard work. I too, have a lot of appointment this month. I miss sewing. Working toward getting a new sewing machine, since mine broke up with be on new years eve lol. But Lucky me I have many hobbies to keep me busy until then. I been hand sewing little animals, needle felting, working on cricut projects and even home projects. Which the home projects have been so exciting. I finally got my table so me and Muffin can start eating at the table. Its little things like that, that make me feel good. Definitely, taking it one day at a time and appreciating what I do have, and that is Muffin and my Mammal and my sweet friends here on youtube. If you don't want to write down what you eat, you could always take a picture of what you eat. You could even print it out and glue it in your journal. You could do a foodie junk journal that would be cool to look back on at the end of the year. I always enjoy vlogs.
Hi Tammy. Thanks for your updates. I will check out some of the fitness videos you recommend. I have looked at Yoga with Adrienne before. I don’t have a plan right now but I know I need to cut back on my sugar and baked goods. I love my muffins! Journaling is good. I write down what I spend though, not what I eat. At least I am keeping track of something! 😂
Journaling spending is also an excellent idea. It makes it "real" when you have to write it down! Yoga with Adrienne has a lot of excellent beginning level videos. Her latest Prana series helped me get back into my regular practice and was a good way to ease into it.
Love your blogs, as it allows me/us to see more of the you. As was just suggested to me, have a vitamin (panel?) check done as well to see if you are deficient in anything. I can attest that some have made a world of difference in my life.
I think having blogs like this every now and then is good. I know I like to get to know the people that I follow on social media. This is a great way to do that. I’ve wondered if maybe I should every now and then do one of these videos myself on my TH-cam channels.
Yes, Terry you should do them on both your channels. For example, for your Tappingflamingo channel, maybe talk about how you deal with designing jewelry, running your etsy shop, why did you start, etc? For your Be Creative channel, maybe talk about how you keep in shape and stay healthy. LMK if you want to brainstorm about it.
Growing up is necessary-‘growing old is a choice’. Just turned 70 & most days feel 1/2 my are. Best method for sustainable weight loss is eating healthy. Lost 65 lbs that way effortlessly 5 yes ago & best of all -the weight doesn’t come back. 😉
Hi Tammy, I hope your tests help. I’m needing some kind of exercises that help build muscle mass as I’ve lost all that I had due to the toxic thyroid. I am walking everyday and have managed to get back to what I was doing just pre to diagnosis but it still feels like hard work. Doll plans for this year for me are completely unknown at the moment. I would like to feel enthusiasm for them again.
Muscle mass is tough as we get older! I hope you find something that you can add to your walking routine. I'm sorry you feel like you've lost some dolly mojo. What about doing some doll reorganizing? Or just take a few dolls and redress them?
Good luck with your exercise and eating plan Tammy. I personally think Pilates would be better for you than yoga, to start with. I’ve advised this to many people who ask for advice at yoga. Those I advised have been so thankful to me once they stared Pilates, and switched to Pilates permanently. However if your heart is set on yoga, then I recommend doing yoga for beginners as you don’t want an injury. I hope this is helpful Tammy.
Thanks for the advice, but I've done yoga on and off for many years and have taken classes as well. It has a lot of similarities to ballet IMO. Back in my teens and early 20s, I was very active in dance and earned a minor in dance when I was in college. I have tried pilates before, but yoga just feels more intuitive for me, and I like the mind/body connection it gives me. You do make a good point, and maybe that's something I might mention in my next update. Anyone starting a new exercise routine needs to be careful. ETA: You look amazing, BTW, so I don't discount your advice at all!
Thanks for sharing Tammy. Hope the best for you. Have fun and keep the sparkles on. Lovies Yetta💕
Thanks for your support :)

That is great. Walking is a wonderful way to exercise. Thanks for the support.
Love this! It’s like having a chat with you! Thank you for sharing!💖
I'm always happy to chat with my viewers.
Good luck with everything. ;-)
Thanks for mentioning Winterfest, I am looking forward to seeing you and Terry. ;-)
Looking forward to it as well!
I like the mix! I do think you talking about your goals helps other people think about theirs. ❤
Good to know!
I love to see your face and hear you speak from your heart. I like getting to know the people i like watching ❤
Thank you for that. I might try to do it more often.
Good video ❤❤❤
Thanks 😁

Thank you for the thoughtful comments. Your new table set up sounds really nice, and yes, things like that can make your home a happy place to be.
Another excellent video Tammy! Just had to let you know my husband enjoys listening to you too!
That’s wonderful to hear! LOL
Great chat! Very fun things happening very exciting! 🩷🌸🩷🌸🩷🌸🩷🌸🩷🌸

Thank you for the suggestion, I will definitely look into that. I do have some bloodwork coming up soon.
The vlog style videos are fun
Thanks, I do plan to try to keep doing them now and then.

@ That’s lovely to hear. I was a dancer, and took dance exams and preformed. Lovely to hear that you were a dancer too.
