The law does not only stop at the Media laws- Freedom Information Act. With the advent and progression of computerised data base systems by which personal information are collated . This happens when the individuals apply for Credit cards, loans , Pass Ports and other formats which organisations use to process their administrations. Thus there should be other associated laws such as Data Protection Act, Access to Information Act and Private and Confidentiality Act that the government needs to consider along side Media Act? And also to have them periodically reviewed by Parliament.
Suspension from work duties and responsibilities are not so wildly and formally used in Britain as it denotes derogatory assumptions. The term of Garden leave is mostly used in this instance.
Bhai Habib as you have cited your own case of Suspension from work without any valid reasons and under which terms and conditions given? This act by the employer is evident of mal practices and unfairness/ unfair treatments. You might want to pursue this through the International Labour Laws or under the Human Rights Conventions.
