I was born in kohima and for studies I was out of Nagaland so the atmosphere for us not only women is safest in Nagaland. But in kohima some individuals harass others using the synonym land owners spoiling the beauty of kohima and the name of Angamis in particular... Sorry for the lost of life but it is evident that this things will happen sooner or later. We are lucky that it didn't happen to us. I hope this incident will bring some changes in the mindset of the land owners, who thinks themselves that they are the boss of the land. Respect people who ever they are, no matter if he or she is from other tribe. Change your mindset so that we can live in peace and harmony. Naga custom, my area, my land so i am the boss, there is no right and wrong. This mindset can't be tolerated in civilized society, because of this mindset you took the life of your own tribe, people. If you cannot spare the life of your own people. How will you treat the other people. Its so disheartening.
naga people should learn how to respect the senior citizen, elders... even the cctv footage shows that the murderer were too much of attitude.. just because they have built their body doesn't give them rights to beat others... and more over they must learn how to respect elders no matter how the elders may behave .. elders are elders... we nagas should really change our attitude and habits of arguing with the elders .... we much learn how to respect senior citizen...
