Description:
Fast Camera Switching (Connecting Receiver Directly)
No matter it is PWM radio receiver on the airplane or the SBUS/IBUS/DSMX radio receiver on racing quad, VIFLY Cam Switcher has the ability to take the signal from both of them via our advanced program. Not like other products to take the racing quad signal through the flight controller, VIFLY Cam Switcher connects the receiver directly that minimizes transition time and gets faster response. It is the time to build your CheaterKwad for more fun.
Easy Setup and no Betaflight Configuration
Though SBUS/IBUS/DSMX radio receivers on racing quad lack PWM channel outputs, VIFLY Cam Switcher can take the signal from the receiver directly through its own algorithm. It doesn’t depend on the flight controller and no need to set the PINIO feature in Betaflight that the setting is very complicated for most of FPV fliers.
Compatible with Racing Quads and Airplanes
VIFLY Cam Switcher is a smart accessory to take the signal from PWM receiver and SBUS/IBUS/DSMX receiver. Now you can easily switch the two cameras on racing drone or RC plane.
Tiny and Lightweight
The size is super small, at only 9x18mm, it's also a great choice for micro quads and airplanes. The weight is 0.5g that almost has no impact on high performance models.

What is the wiring? How did you configure that AUX7?
thank you for your video.
I'm thinking of using one of these to switch between rear and front camera of my car. Do you think the switch can be operated by a 12V signal, like the reverse gear light?
Thank you: is there any alternative that requires no soldering? I'm terrible at that.
I was interested in getting one of these for a quad and also for an rc rock crawler. Thanks for making a video about it.
My pleasure
@Dan Wright No problem! I have not had time yet as we are building a house and I have a one year old son. I bought all of the gear to do it though. I ended up getting a couple different camera switchers from GetFPV, one for two cameras and one for three because I am not sure which one I want to use yet. I got the new Foxeer Cat 2 ultra low light cameras for doing FPV at night. I am going to do it on a Traxxas Summit because it is the most capable off-road RC car I know of and I don't want to get stuck while driving in FPV. My plan is either to use Crossfire to do a long range rc car driving, but it is not fun to drive a car with an aircraft controller, or use the stock 4 channel Traxxas system, but then I would have really short range. If I use crossfire, I will run the switcher on an extra channel. If I use the stock radio I will have to run the switcher off a splitter in the throttle channel so that it switches forward when going forward and then back when backing up. With the three camera system I will also have one camera pointed more down for rock crawling and it will switch to that camera when I switch into the low crawling gear, but that would require using two two-camera switching boards wired in a slightly complicated way so that reversing always turns on the reverse camera, but going forward would switch between two different cameras depending on which transmission gear you are in. I am also going to wire in a flight controller and GPS so that I can get Betaflight OSD with GPS info like location and speed on the screen. I can't wait to do it, but no time yet.
@@IanBeaty if you want extra range and you don’t like drone remote you can change for a radiolink rc6gs version 2.0 you will able to make 600m and more with and he sell a combo remote + receiver with 7channel for 80$ its very awesome! I have this remote in my trx4 with my dji fpv google and it’s CRAZY 🤩
@@IanBeaty i think some vtx can do osd without fc
Really nice, Gal! 😊
I have a pretty old model here, I don't even remember the manufacturer. LOL And I'm going to use in a TBS Discovery like quad. 😊
Thanks. Cool bro, have fun!
So... would it be possible to use this with an R-XSR or R9MM while having them connected in F.Port?
Or does it need its own receiver, in which case, how would I bind 2 to control both the quad and the camera switcher? :)
It needs to be connected to a receiver and get the signal on channel 7.
Thank you for your making a video about this Switcher.
Now, I'm thinking 2 Runcam split 4k cam to this switcher. If I do this, will the recorder of the two cam both record each video all the time?
You're welcome.
No, it will just switch between the video feeds. The cameras will be powered and recording all the time.
So the sbus signal out of the rx connects parallel to the flight controller and to the camera switcher at the same time ?
And the switcher is using channel 7 always ? I just configure channel 7 to a swich ?
Or does the sbus go through the switcher and out to the flight controller ?
Hi, pwm is normal rc car receivers?
Can you show me any you tube links that have this in long range fpv ?
I guess not needing a UART is nice, but it limits what protocol you can use. No F. Port and no Crossfire (as you said), which means this is out for me.
Try the Bicks Multiview Duo switch. If you are using crossfire you can set CH3 or CH4 output of the Crossfire Nano to send a PWM signal as Ch6 or Ch7. It is how I run my cheaterkwads that use 2 or even 3 cameras(two switches for 3 cam setup)
the OSD will be show?
Yes.
Does the sbus wire go to an open uart?
No, tho an SBUS pad.
Самое важное автор оставил за кадром. Как настроить Betafly?
Sorry about that.
Can it does picture in picture? I seen a video with their fpv camera as the main feed and the GoPro fpv out was on the lower left as a smaller thumbnail
No. What you've seen is done through an editing program.
Gal Kremer have a look m.th-cam.com/video/X9D1uwdCC48/w-d-xo.html
Can I use this on any other channel than 7? If so, how?
As far as I know - no.
Can we connect 2 camera and watchs video together. Because if using Switch, we just see video of camera. I want to see 2 video of camera in the same time.
It's not possible using an analog system unfortunately.
Very useful, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
would this work on the xm+ as it has an sbus pad on it?
Yes :-)
how many cameras can you hook up to an FPV set ?
Using this adapter you can connect two cameras. If you will use a flight controller with a built in 2 cameras switcher you can connect 4 cameras.
hi i want ask
if i use crsf how to set that
Hi, you can set the output signal to sbus.
Gday Gal does anyone else sell the camera switcher for us in aus.
Gday mate. Sorry but I have no idea. Shipping from China shouldn't take too long though.
@MAD GRUMPYMAN thank you mate i look it up.
@@KremerFPV Thanks Gal.👍
I’m going to put it on the back of my drone to see if it’s damaged
I HATE THIS HOBBY! 🤪🤣🤪🤣
