Why is the drummer always at the bottom? In a musical score percussion or rhythm is on the bottom staff. Remember that the definition of musician Melody. Harmony and Rhythm. Period !!!
A Big Thanks to Randy for hold up the spirit and the legacy of the Brecker Brothers.........great band.......with Stern and Wittey he has to cats from former Brecker Brothers Band of the 90ies with him.......unforgetable these years........his brother Michael.....RIP......woulld like this band also

@@ernestwarren9497 Hello there ! I do not know any English draculas besides Bojo. As for Mike Stern it's the sound of his guitar that I don't like. I am not questioning his skills, and would never allow me to question that.
Geez, more than 13 mn of musical consistency with so much energy and good taste, they are REAL pros for real, well done gentlemen, you guys inspire me since decades, merci !!!
What a piece, Randy! As I told Dave the last time he came through with Minh, he did what still stands as one of my all time favorite drum solos that night! And wait, it took this long to find you on TH-cam?! My bad! lol Hugs to you all from Germany!
I'll say it again.... Mike Stern is an AMAZING guitar player, with the WORST tone I have ever heard. There is no difference in dynamics or tone no matter where he plays on the fretboard. Everything has the same tone, same volume, and same attack. I heard him from his early days when he played with Miles and others, and it was all good. When did he decide that his guitar only needed ONE pickup sound? What is the other pickup for..., to test batteries??? I wish that Dave Weckl would stop playing with him because he is my favorite drummer, and he plays with great guitar players... Oz Noy, Bill Connors, Steve Khan, Buzz Feiten, and others. I would include Mike Stern, but his tone is too irritating to listen to. Why even have a T-style guitar, when an ironing board with strings an a pickup would sound just as "good"?
trumpet - randy brecker
tenor sax - ada rovatti
guitar - mike stern
keys - george whitty
bass - will lee
drums - dave weckl
Thank you!!!
mike stern omg what an assassin

Good to see Randy Brecker blowin' it out again with Will Lee on bass and the
GOAT himself , Dave Weckle on drums!! 👏🏻
Tighter than a facelift in open top Ferrari. Love the musicality. Simply brilliant!
As awesome as Ada Rovatti is, Michael will never ever be replaced by anyone. Rest in peace
I appreciate the fact that she doesn’t try to play like Mike but I know what you mean.

Holy . . .these musicians just think it and it's there . . .direct line from the soul to sound!!!
In case anybody didn't know. That's Will Lee on The Bass.
Will Lee hmmm... cousin of Bruce Lee ? Just kidding of course. They should have put Robben Ford on guitar to make it even better.
@@yvesdevriendt928Isn't his grandfather Christopher Lee. You know the English Dracula. I thought Mike Stern did a good job on the song.

I agree, I thought the guitar solo was my least favorite part.
