1. I haven't heard cairo say she's interested in acting. 2. Charles seems like a nice guy but i think he's part of the script. 3. Jerome is there but for what reason? Outside of the alpaca scene, he and tia didn't go out to have fun. 4. Ciara and the other friend seeing charles was not necessary. Gave me the vibe of " we want to check where it's going because we want tia to stay single". I love your reviews, keep them coming❤❤😊
Can I address the elephant in the room? I've been feeling this way since Cairo has been on screen and I know that she's still young but...Cairo doesn't appear as though she's a typical 6 years old. She seems more 3 years old. Not saying it's intellectual but I think Tia baby talks her and there could be other things going on. I'm saying this as a mom with a speech delayed toddler and a former 1st grade teacher. I hate that this is obvious but Tia is insisting on selling this us this storyline and putting Cairo in situations she is clearly not ready for. And child actors tend to be a little more advanced than average (Raven Simone for example). There is nothing about Cai that gives this. AT ALL.
Excellent point. I would add that Cairo isn't comfortable with the cameras and I think Tia's projecting too many emotions onto her which is also confusing. It's not uncommon for kids to regress when their parents split up too.
Ahhhhhhhh finally someone said it :( I’ve seen little comments here and there but I think yours is the first one I’ve seen go into more detail. I’ve been a preschool teacher for 8 years now, working with 2-6 year olds, and I spotted very quickly that everything from her speech, the way she’s interacting with mom, the way she expresses herself, is very much on the younger side for her age. She is 6, that means she is at the beginning of 1st grade level- and I have preschoolers as young as 2 and a half (for the more advanced ones) to 3-4 year olds who are able to speak in complete sentences and have full on conversations. Of course every child’s development is different, but what I was most shocked about was where they even got the idea in the first place to put Cairo into acting right now, at this specific stage in her life? At least from what was presented to us, she never once expressed by her own self (without any prompting) that she actually wanted to do this- Jerome was the one who defined it for her very simply, and of course any child will say yes to anything especially if they don’t even really understand what it means. It is very blatantly obvious that she is not developmentally ready to even comprehend what being a child actor entails. It’s really strange that it was even a thought in the first place. It was hard to watch Cairo go through the audition as she clearly wasn’t ready, but hopefully this is the first and last episode even mentioning the idea, at least for right now in her stage of life.
I would also like to add, with Tia basically being a child actor/entertainer herself, being fully immersed in that industry from a young age, and even just watching her own younger brother be a young child actor as well.. you would think she would know very, very well of the qualities & characteristics that a child star normally possesses, lol. It’s just all very strange, to say the least. It’s not one of those things where anyone can just simply say “mommy I wanna do this”, without possessing any of those star-like qualities naturally.
I'm impressed by how quick you guys do the review 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. Again, much love from South Africa 🇿🇦, it's lunch time 1pm so I'm gonna enjoy this review while chilling
Great review!!! You have me cracking up through this nonsense. 1. Tia is scared of Ciara and Natasha. Seems to want to please them and tries hard like they're the 'popular girls' in high school. 2. Cairo doesn't need to be going on all these auditions. Just be 6 and deal with kindergarten and navigating the fact that her parents just split up. 3. Why is Charles talking about being with Tia for the rest of his life? Completely scripted and acting. 4. Jerome seems irritated by Tia. Does Tia have other friends?
Tia is 46 but acts like a teenager. She made a big deal over Charles holding her hand like she was in middle school. And did Charles not text her to let her know that he was on his way? Tia's mother was in the military which could explain how she was as a manager. Her brother Tahj was in the industry first. Jerome is Tia's cousin. He was on her reality show with Tamera. I don't get how her daughter never met Jerome. On The Tia and Tamera Show, Tia, Tamera and Jerome seem to have a close relationship.
@@sandraelliott1875 So he wasn't around when Tia was pregnant with her? Reality TV is one thing and real life is another. Unless Jerome lives in another state. That is the only understandable reason as to why Cairo doesn't know him.
This is what I got from this episode…Tia misses her sister badly and their relationship was probably at its best while in high school. She’s trying to recreate it with Ciara but it’s not working….Tia is concerned about her kids future now that she’s divorced…Cory can always have more kids…which may be why she’s pushing Cairo towards acting…Lastly I agree with Blaire, this is a sitcom 😂
I think the reason why Tia went back to 17 (in Chris words) is because that’s probably when she was single. Maybe Charles holding her hand brought her back to her teenage years. She was married in her 30s & probably isn’t gonna pull from a time when she was married.
As I was watching the show, there was too many points where I thought “i know Blaire and Chris are going to go in”. When the prom scene happened it all clicked to me - this is giving Tia is playing a role and this is her next job.
Tia Tia Tia how many times did l call you, mmmmh grow up, you are friends with kids broken kids, and dating a young man. Your so-called friends meeting Charles for the 2nd time to vet him for what? Naaah, go back to your husband while you still can
If those women are Tias real friends she’ll never be happy in a relationship every time the man does something Tia tells them they go no girl he needs to do this this and this and the same thing that happened with Cory is gonna happen she loses another relationship cause she cnt stop listening to ppl and think for herself
Tia needs to stop with the weird laugh corniness and long drawn out sentences 😂 girl that baby don’t wanna act Tia can’t even act ! This is exactly what you guys said a wanna be sitcom with having a issue and having to resolve it at the end with dumb cliff hangers 😂😂
Also tia saying in last episode "if Cairo does want to pursue acting, I want it to come from Cairo." Also Tia, the very next episode asking Cairo if she wants to act, and then precedes to push her into it.🤔💁🏾♀️😏
i dont understand why she had to cancel.. if he prepared the night arrangemrnt to be a prom, he probably has a special car outside, a venue or decorated place, music and othrr things already arranged.. EVEN IF she forgot, she can take 15 min to get ready and still go
Is she saying she would have rather had a normal childhood and spent more time with her mom or what ?? She was only an acceptable actress bc they were twins in that era not there skills chile
It does have sense because for Tia, not being able to live a normal childhoold or teenagehood was tramaic for her. Her not being able to attend prom because of work, was something that might have traumatized her. So her reliving it again and talking about is helpin her to heal. Try to be more comprensive.
I knew from last episode that Charles had to be a chosen character for this show. Because the way it feels like he's trying to do too much too soon is crazy! And I'm the only one so far that seems to see it that way. Ok so at first the little cute nervous dates was cute but now you you're already talking commitment and dating tia for the rest if your life? After only what 3 dates? And now your already trying to reimagine yall's prom and take her out on a date that mimics you taking her to prom. Idk honestly it seems like he's doing to much too fast. Atp I'm afraid he's gonna hit her with the L bomb next episode. Like gees! Atp you know this show is not real! Also side note: I think Jerome is there just to watch Cairo, because we haven't seen Tia drop Cairo off at her dad's house since the first episode.💁🏾♀️🫤

Yeah, Tia keeps saying it's Cairo's dream to act, and I'm not getting that at all.
Beyoncé Coachella performance relived the HBCU experience she never had. I don’t find Tia talking about missing the prom to be a problem.
I love how i run here whenever i finish the episodes lol. you guys are so real
Thank you friend 😊

So many questions!
Explains why he’s just meeting her children.
Tia is 46 but acts like a teenager. She made a big deal over Charles holding her hand like she was in middle school. And did Charles not text her to let her know that he was on his way?

Cairo wasn't born when the tia & tamera show aired which probably explains why jerome doesn't know cairo hope that helped

Her mom did a great job and Tia reminds me of ridiculous pastor kids who just wanna be bad and on the edge for no reason. 😒

Same
I’ve always felt Tia resent her mom which is why she is ain’t everything her mom did. Tamara is similar to her mom. Tia is rebellious low key.
I was thinking about this! She's more close with her dad. And she didn't give her mother a bday shout out this year in her ista only Tam did
was waiting for this review :)
I could be wrong but I thought Tia put in that divorce paper work that the ppl they date aren’t suppose to meet the kids?
Although, this is Tia's sitcom i still looooooooove the show lmao

When he rang the bell, i was shocked too... This show is weird
I don't understand why she would let this guy know where she lives. She doesn't even know that man, and she doesn't know what he may be up to.
Was lost too why the guy shouldn't hold her hand or kiss her, especially if Tia finds him holding her cute and loved it
