Your profits are phenomenal! I wish I could source quality items for low prices as you do. Then I wish I had buyers who recognized that quality and were willing to pay the prices you command
Hi! Those are actually old sales. Sometimes I share my high dollar sold items to hopefully drive traffic to my closet. My theory is that sometimes people search sold listings and they may click on my closet as a result. Thank you for mentioning it, I will share that tip in an upcoming video. 😊
curious, how do you determine your selling price on chairish? I just started listing, but I find their search feature to not bring up any similar results or anything even close!
Hi! I wish I had an exact formula… Usually I look at sold listings on eBay first. Then I look at sold listings on Chairish. Then I look at what is available that is similar on Chairish. If there isn’t anything similar available, or very few, I will price the item high, at least 20% higher then any sold comps. Sometimes I just think, what would a rich person pay for this at a fancy overpriced boutique? If you live in or near a city that has a high end boujee antique store, I’d recommend looking at prices there. Sometimes the value of an item is perceived rather then factual, do you know what I mean? I’ll try to talk more about perceived value in an upcoming ship with me video. 😊
Hi Joan! It really depends on what type of item I’m listing. Typically I spend about 5-10 minutes on just the listing portion. The pictures usually take about 5-10 minutes per item, and then I edit the photos and take measurements of the item. So roughly 15-25 minuets per listing.
Great content! Always love your videos! The clown costumes were great! 😊 Would love to see a tutorial style video, showing your thought processes on how you go about determining a list price on your higher priced items. I agree with you that you won’t get a high price if you don’t ask a high price. Just wondering if you use any factors along with comps to come up with your pricing. Thanks!!

@@thriftadventure Yes, that does make sense. Great suggestion to check out prices at a high end antique shop! I will definitely do that! Thank you so much!
My sales on Poshmark have been 🔥 all February and still going strong. I’ve been hitting up estate sales and garage sales heavily. I like to stock up inventory for the summer at a low cost now because it will be too hot here in AZ for yard sales in a couple of months. You had great sales! Thanks for sharing 💕
That’s awesome! I’m so glad your sales have been amazing too! I’d love to check out your closet if you’re up for sharing your closet name. Also, I’m heading to Arizona in March! I’m super excited to check out some estate sales there and film some videos.
I would have never noticed your hands, they look flawless from our view, don't sweat it Amy :) Thanks for all your tips, I still use the plastic containers for jewelry that is to tall for jewelry boxes and they are super sturdy! I was in the live chat in your last video you premiered and thought you would be in the chat but you weren't lol. Did you know there's a live chat when you premiere a video? Just wondering! Love your videos, as always 🤩
Hi Hannah! Thank you for the reminder about the live chat for premieres. I totally forgot about that. 😂 Sometimes I’m trying to do to many things at once. It would definitely be fun to chat with people beforehand. 😊
Oh most people are in the live chat while the video is premiering. I thought you were in the chat live because you had said something but then realized you must have put that comment when you uploaded the video. It would be like we are all chatting with you while watching the video premiere, it would be fun! 😊
That's so funny about the woman in the car jamming! You should have yelled over to her, "We need more cowbell!" Hope you know what I'm talking about. lol.
Excellent sales, Amy! I love watching successes in reselling, bc it inspires me. It's going to be an interesting season for the Seahawks. We shall see how it goes. The ownership really did Pete Carroll in badly. A while ago, I sold 2 of my Siberian Husky's Seahawks shirts on Poshmark. Glad that another pooch will enjoy wearing them! Love the lambskin moto-jacket. Your retro sales experience reminded me of when I lived in SoCal years ago and my daughter and me would go to Beverly Hills for garage/yard sales. We'd always pick up some cool items that today would be so in and the prices were so low! Hilarious story! Wonder who she was.
Ha! I can just picture that gal having a party for 1, in her car. 🤣How random and bizarre, but makes for good entertainment while you're waiting in line. Gave the rest of you something to laugh about! We love those $1 into $70 flips. YES!!!
Oh my gosh those clown costumes! And i can't believe the prices you got for them, comps on ebay are high for them as well. My mom sewed me and my sister clown outfits when I was 9, maybe she still has them and I can sell them 😆
Oh boy, I can’t function when I miss to many nights of sleep. I hope it gets better for you sometime. ❤️ I take magnesium and turmeric before bed now, and it has really improved my sleep overall. It’s also supposed to help with aches and pains. Dang perimenopause has me all out of sorts. Sometimes being a woman is a real pain in the arse.😂
All I can tell you is this …. The Big M is like a rollercoaster, fun house, fire drill and a WWE match all wrapped up in one. But individual results may vary 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@katbyrd9299 😂😂 I’m not looking forward to the main event. 🥊 I was talking to my husbands aunt about it, and she was like… Oh my period just stoped one day and never came back, I never had any other symptoms. 🙄

Thank you so much! I think patience is key with getting higher prices, sometimes you just have to wait for the right buyer to come along. 😊
Thanks for sharing your finds! Very entertaining. Just found your videos and am enjoying catching up
Welcome, and thank you so much for watching! 🥰😍
you deserve more than 4000 subscibers, so precious info!!!

I ❤ the Hawaiian 🌺 dress. The clown suits were fun to see. All the jewelry was beautiful
Weren’t those clown suits hilarious! I love buying and selling vintage goodies! 💕
Hilarious story! Any chance you would do a hair tutorial?🤣 I’ve got your same hair, just don’t know how to make it do like yours. 💜
Wasn’t it a hoot!
Hopefully in the future I’ll do something like that, thank you for the suggestion. 🩷
Thank you for your awesome video! Loved the clown suits, such a funny moment!! 🥰

I noticed you have a lot of high value sales on Poshmark that you do not show.. Would be interested on seeing your high end jackets and jewelry
