BEAMNG NEWS episode 178
The Angry Dummy has been finally found, but not by the FBI who were searching for him, but by someone else! It all started with 2 dummies having an offroad race in Utah in military Roamers. Suddenly one of them lost control and started rolling over, ultimately hitting a bridge! The other one didn't care and kept driving, not knowing that his opponent's arm was broken! The injuried dummy had to call an ambulance for himself. There is only one offroad ambulance in Utah, and it had been called to another accident (in which a camper bus rolled down a hill, falling apart as a result). A normal ambulance had to be called, and it couldn't take the same path as the Roamers because it wasn't capable. It had to drive through a dangerous dirt road near a cliff instead, a road no car has been on for 20 years - or at least that's what the ambulance driver thought. While he was driving through one of the less dangerous section, he saw a brown Gavril D15 drive past him at high speed! When he looked in the mirror, he could see the license plate, which had "Angry-Dummy" written on it! He also saw the pickup fall off a cliff shortly after it passed him! He knew about the high reward for capturing the criminal, but as an ambulance driver he couldn't stop and leave the injuried Roamer driver to wait for a longer time! He decided to call his friend who was a local cop to help him capture the villain. He called him via the emergency radio and offered him half of the reward if he arrests him, and gave all the information about his location. The cop agreed, got into his limited edition police Covet and started driving towards that place. Meanwhile, the ambulance driver put the injuried dummy in the hospital. He thought it was the last emergency for him that day, but soon he got a new call - it was from the cop, who just crashed his car on the way to the location and was injuried! It turned out that 2 Cherriers were having an illegal offroad race in Utah and one of them crashed head-on with the police car! The cop fell off a cliff in his car and broke both legs, and needed help as soon as possible! The ambulance driver soon found him and took him to hospital, after which he drove to the place where he had seen The Angry Dummy. Unsurprisingly, the villain had escaped a long time ago and there weren't even any tiremarks anymore. At this point the driver lost all hope about the reward and just called Sheriff Bat Dummieson and told him about this all. Soon, the FBI arrived there, but they couldn't find any clue about where the criminal had gone. This whole situation didn't make the search any easier, if anything, it only confirmed the theory that The Angry Dummy will always hide in places where nobody expects him (or anyone else) to be. These kind of places will be checked more often from now on, hopefully it will help the police finally capture this dangerous criminal once and for all...
Mod news: BIG NEWS, the BeamNG Multiplayer Mod is now public, and it's AWESOME! How to get it? First, you join the Discord server of the mod (link: discord.com/invite/beammp), this is required for the launcher to get a username for you. On the server, there are instructions on how to download the installer and install the launcher, as well as the rules of the multiplayer servers. It's a really professional server, it has support in case you have any questions or you found any bugs! You open the multiplayer mod with the launcher you install, it works as a separate game, you will need to reassign your settings (either manually or import them from the main game, there is a tutorial for it on the server). It requires having the game bought on Steam to run, usually doesn't work if you have a pirated version! (But works if you are playing it using someone's shared Steam library, I checked it.) Once you've opened it, the Play button is replaced with a Multiplayer button, and there is no Repository button - because all mods are already parts of the servers, and are downloaded when you join them! Unfortunately, there is no server that allows dummies yet as far as I know, but one server has the Gavril Vertex mod, in which you can put Stig. There are many different themed servers - a car soccer one, one on the Big 8 dirt track on the Derby map, one in Utah which had a hidden cops event today, one on the West Coast race track with racing, one with truck mods, a server with plane mods, a server with F1 racing, a monster truck server, a derby server, and there even is one only for youtubers! (You'll have to apply for a youtuber role on Discord to join, no idea how it works.) Once you have chosen the server, the game loads, and you need to spawn a car for yourself first because hy default you don't have one. Each person can only spawn 1 car, due to the enormous lag that happens every time someone does it. To change your car, you need to delete your current vehicle and spawn a new one, there is no "Replace Current" button as it would allow people to replace other people's cars (yes, you can switch to someone's car, but you can't control it). You can edit your car though, but always do it when the game is paused for you to avoid bugs. (Pausing the game only pauses your car obviously.) There is a chat box and the list of players in the new UI, some buttons are missing as the options they activate would probably cause massive lag. Normal gameplay has almost no lag, it's very smooth, of course not as smooth as the real game, but still great! It's a lot of fun to play with real people, sadly sometimes all the servers are just empty with only 1 or 2 people on each and it's boring. Maybe you could make a Multiplayer Crashes video? It would be fun to watch for sure!

hi, quick question for you: how many takes/attempts does it normally take to get a crash just how you want it? a few of these look really hard to pull off!
LOTS bro! Depending on the series and the complexity of each crash, some might take up to an hour to make and 50-60 repeats! Usually it's about 20-30 minutes each though!
