    Thank you for making this video. I found it easy to follow along. Whenever I missed something, I paused, backed up, and replayed. I like the character you put into your bear's face.I appreciate everyone who has taken the time and effort to make videos. Your background music made me smile.

    Thanks a lot for uploading this video. Despite the fact that it really goes quite fast, the instructions are really clear and easy to follow. I just finished my first bear and I love it! Finished it off with a nice i-cord scarf. :)

    Looking forward to the panda video! It's so difficult finding instructions/patterns for loom knit stuffed animals, so I'm really glad I found your videos.

    can you make this teddy bear without a spool loom?

    • @deanwinchester6666
      @deanwinchester6666 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, using the spool loom is just being lazy. There are many videos and people who show how ro make proper bear with only one circular loom. One uses a cinDloom, and she explains in more detail with one loom. I cant remember her name, but i watched her a while ago. I would watch her.

  • @jagirl966
    @jagirl966 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I found a loom set for lighter weight yarn and used it for this. Had to add a few extra rows, but it looks great. Saved on yarn since I didn't need to use 2 strands as one.

  • @lady13luck
    @lady13luck 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you have to E-wrap or can you flat panel stitch everything? Flat panel seems tighter and would work better I think but I'd like to know what you think about using it for this?

  • @mariamikota
    @mariamikota 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    do you have a pattern for a cat ?

  • @overcastic
    @overcastic 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    instead of a spool loom can you use a flower loom? I don't have a spool loom...but I have everything else. The arms will be a bit bigger I guess? But if the arms are bigger then should I use a bigger loom for the body and head?

  • @rachelwilcox5643
    @rachelwilcox5643 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, instead of doing the zigzag thing could I just cast on as normal?

  • @caringcaps
    @caringcaps  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Kind of. You can use the flower loom to make the arms and legs, but they will be pretty fat compared to the head and body. I really recommend the spool loom. It retails for $4.99 and is helpful in several projects.

    Hello
    wonderful things you do. I am very new to loom knitting and i even went to the gear and slowed down the video but for some reason your voice slows down but no the knitting part. I am going to give it a try. i do have some learning disabilities so i hope i can figure this out. thank you again for the videos you do.

    If you are inquiring about becoming a volunteer, you simply have to fill out a volunteer registration form (link on the channel main page-sorry I can't post links in the comments). Even if you don't live near us, all you have to do is fill the form out and then every few months ship me some items (I will even cover your shipping!). :) Looking forward to having your on our team!

    Is there another way to do this without a spool loom?

  • @caringcaps
    @caringcaps  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes, you could technical use a flower loom and then maybe the red 32-peg loom for the head and body. Next week I will be showing you guys how to make mini teddy bears, which can ALL be done on the flower loom!

  • @caringcaps
    @caringcaps  11 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @caringcaps
    @caringcaps  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    how do you make pointy ears like a cat?

  • @caringcaps
    @caringcaps  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Unfortunately, you can't...But don't lose hope! The next tutorial I will be posting shows you how to make a Mini Teddy Bear and the entire bear can be made on the flower loom! So have no fear, you can make tons of mini teddy bears, and they knit up really fast! Stay tuned for the tutorial. :)

  • @caringcaps
    @caringcaps  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Stay tuned for next weeks tutorial on knitting a mini teddy bear. With that pattern, all you need is a flower loom! So simple. The spool loom does come in handy for i-cords, making belts, etc. so it's a worthwhile buy.

    Watched this twice and hope to be able to try to make one tomorrow. Of course will have the video up. I do t think many people would care if it was longer so that we could understand you a little better. Fast talking can be a little distracting but I'm still going to try. Seems to be hard to find videos where they talk a little slower and keep the project in view of the camera. If they talk slow they show half or vice versa. But again going to try this one to make my niece a bear to match the blanket I did

    I know this is a late reply, but if you ever start doing tutorials again, please make them slower, people will be interested in long video's because well in honesty that's what they are for to learn. now it's a bit hard to follow with the loud music and fast pacing. though I have to say I'm getting there with my try of the bear.
