5h members are talented on their own but they just didn't work out as a group. Ironically, there was no harmony between them. There was no chemistry, they just didn't work out together. Little mix on the other hand are not only super talented but they also have an incredible bond. Plus their songs combine important topics such as women empowerment with fire melodies and incredible voices

Simon Cowell is an executive producer on the all x factor shows across the world but he has been judging X factor in the uk since 2004 so I agree that they weren't making out the show is American but don't try to make us out as a sister show to your x factor we are the original show you are a franchise.
This gets me so triggered, I live in Texas USA and no one but my small friend group knows who Little Mix is. They are our FAVORITE and we sing along to them all the time!
I think Little Mix just need a big US awards show performance to get them noticed, they KILL every performance so they won't disappoint. VMAs 2019 is probably the best bet and they're under new management now so hopefully it happens!
The closest big awards we got from them in the U.S. were the Teen Choice Awards from 2015, and Kids Choice Awards from 2017, and those shows aren't really that widley watched.
They performed at the EMAs last year and it hardly did anything for them. I’d prefer for them to stay out of the scripted controversy of the award shows too. I wouldn’t want them to throw pretend “shade” just to get attention.

I saw them open for Ariana Grande on her Dangerous Woman Tour in Columbus. I already knew them due to my two teenage daughters who love them. And I will say, their 30 minute opening act was the highlight of the concert. I am 45 and I love Little Mix. I hope they tour the US soon on their own
I am 46 and have loved them for years...lol! I saw their video when I took my niece to the One Direction concert and have never looked back. I would love to see them tour in the U.S. They are incredibly talented.

Yep, I was about to say this too. 💁 This video keeps talking about how weird it is that 1D became more successful than Little Mix even though LM won on XFactor, but the real problem is that LM don't promote themselves enough in the U.S. When 1D released WMYB, they were literally on iCarly like right after, & iCarly was huge in the U.S. which is good promo. They started showing up to U.S. award shows & making a lot of friends in the U.S., etc. LM didn't really promote themselves enough in the U.S., & still kind of don't, which is why people don't really know LM that much. But I personally love both 1D & LM.

It really is. One Direction were on top of the world in terms of U.K. acts, and in our country (the U.S.), Fifth Harmony (a girl group) made it big no problem. Even today, no one in America seems to care that much about boy bands and girl groups. And yes, we do have Kpop groups: BTS (the guys) and BlackPink (the girls), but although their respective songs chart high on the Billboard Hot 100, they flop immediately (mostly because they chart based on streaming alone). All I can say is: only time will tell if we get a successful boy band or girl group.

Non-American artists have to work twice as hard to get recognition globally, and we can see how much Little Mix works: one year making and releasing an album, the next one the tour for the album, then making another album, and so on, even with a summer tour in the year that they make a new album and they don't have another tour, so they basically tour every year.

I love them. But sadly #LM5 debuted at #40 In the US. Part of the problem was They had a US headlining tour for Salute planned. But they cancelled it due to wanting to be involved with get weird. Plus US Promotion is different. Little Mix discussed that you have to stay for months. Even the Spice Girls stayed 4 Months in the US to promote their brand. Part of it is on them. Canceling the US leg of the salute tour did more damage than Good.
I heard a rumor that said their label made them rewrite the whole Get Weird album because the original album was more rnb and Syco was pushing a pop vibe. 😤 that Salute tour would’ve been groundbreaking.

I saw them open for Ariana Grande on her Dangerous Woman Tour in Columbus. I already knew them due to my two teenage daughters who love them. And I will say, their 30 minute opening act was the highlight of the concert. I am 45 and I love Little Mix. I hope they tour the US soon on their own

Little Mix doesn't have a record deal in the US. That's why their songs don't get played on radios or performed as much at American venues. It's also why George Ezra is played a whole lot in UK, but is heard of but not heard from.

Yep, I was about to say this too. 💁 This video keeps talking about how weird it is that 1D became more successful than Little Mix even though LM won on XFactor, but the real problem is that LM don't promote themselves enough in the U.S. When 1D released WMYB, they were literally on iCarly like right after, & iCarly was huge in the U.S. which is good promo. They started showing up to U.S. award shows & making a lot of friends in the U.S., etc. LM didn't really promote themselves enough in the U.S., & still kind of don't, which is why people don't really know LM that much. But I personally love both 1D & LM.

One Direction were signed with Syco and seemed to do just fine but somehow Little Mix are still killing themselves trying to break America after 7 years of actually winning X-Factor. I smell sexism. And the fact that Jade said their label told them to flirt with people just to get their songs on the radio is disgusting.
It really is. One Direction were on top of the world in terms of U.K. acts, and in our country (the U.S.), Fifth Harmony (a girl group) made it big no problem. Even today, no one in America seems to care that much about boy bands and girl groups.
And yes, we do have Kpop groups: BTS (the guys) and BlackPink (the girls), but although their respective songs chart high on the Billboard Hot 100, they flop immediately (mostly because they chart based on streaming alone).
All I can say is: only time will tell if we get a successful boy band or girl group.

I respect 5h, but, if we're being honest, Little Mix are more talented than them (vocals, dance moves, meaningful songs). So LM deserves to have at least the success of 5H, if not more, and it's not 5H or LM's fault, it's just how unfair the world is and how American artists are ALWAYS prioritised. Non-American artists have to work twice as hard to get recognition globally, and we can see how much Little Mix works: one year making and releasing an album, the next one the tour for the album, then making another album, and so on, even with a summer tour in the year that they make a new album and they don't have another tour, so they basically tour every year.

Part of the problem was They had a US headlining tour for Salute planned. But they cancelled it due to wanting to be involved with get weird. Plus US Promotion is different. Little Mix discussed that you have to stay for months.

Part of it is on them. Canceling the US leg of the salute tour did more damage than Good.
