They are shudras but due to regional dominance they occupied the political power and presented them as kshritya after performing some religious ceremony

@@ijajulrehman4891 no jaats are traditionally kshatriyas and jatt are different they are shudras. Jaats has been landowning class since ancient times they also had much muscle power which they still possess and were highly recommended in wars and all and that explains their higher proportion in defence forces..

Always upward social mobility is not desirable...after mandal case... downward mobility due to benefit is getting desirable...
Thus jat agitation in Haryana...Patel agitation in Gujarat... Gujjar and Yadav ... though in past the desired upward social mobility but now demand status of lower social strata

This interview of Satish Deshpande is dealing with a lot of issues with reservation and Jat, Patidars, Gujjars agitation. This is loaded with sociological terminologies and really deep.

    Great lecture ...multi dimensional coverage!
Is mobility of Dominant Caste due to democracy and pvt land and open market a result of open system or it is example of mobility in closed system?
can you share examples of closed system tendencies in the present indian society
eg lack of access to public resource to lower caste in rural India

jatt and yadavas are ....... community . simply i want to ask question that is RAM exist or not ? if ram exist then krishna also exist .. if krishna exist then everyone heared about sudama( who is brahminis) who went to krishna (yadavas) to meet. dominant class influence the society- it is right but it is not correct that if any community work on land or landlords then it belongs to that ...... community because every rajput are not king .. some are king and some are landlords and also this theory apply on brahmins and maurya dynasty...
