I'm a Korean kid practicing kendo. I've been watching your videos guessing the meaning in Japanese. I'm really happy that there is a English version of your lessons.😍
Thank you for your comment from Korea. It is wonderful that you are willing to learn to watch while guessing the meaning of Japanese. We will continue to work hard to make our videos in English. Let's continue our kendo together!
I wouldnt consider this kind of waza teaching is useful or his understanding of the waza is correct if he only demonstrates the waza to a non-moving opponent. Waza is applied during seme and most techniques are effective only after opponents showed hesitated by seme.
The attack and defense against the opponent will be explained in the match commentary video. Please look forward to it as we gradually expand the content.
Its how you start to learn any technique. You practice in a controlled space getting muscle memory. Eventually you will be able to introduce these movements into your sparring.
